  • Sounds just like Snow Miser :)

  • Can anyone see Mr. Shawn and not instantly laugh remembering him as Sylvester in Mad World? (I'M COMIN', MAMA!!!) He was also Jack's father on Three's Company. I miss this guy. Thank you for uploading this, aNoid!

  • He was fantastic in the movie " Evil Roy Slade " as sheriff Bing Bell .

  • Dick Shawn was better than anybody he ever worked with. His character 'LSD' in The Producers made the film more relevant to 60's audiences.

  • It's a shame Shawn's acting career never took off after he appeared in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

  • @rayjr62 he was offered ALLOT of roles, but he wasn't a sell-out.

  • LOLOL

  • Thats our Snow Miser

  • @Catrain198 - Excellent!!

  • Ladies and Gentleman, the man who once played Jack Tripper Sr.

  • And what a great casting choice!

    Viva la Dick Shawn.

  • Thanks for this clip of Dick Shawn. I've been searching for years to find Shawn's classic routine -- never saw it-only heard of it. The premise is he's telling a sentimental story about his grandfather?..as the story progresses it gets more dramatic..the Battle Hymn of The Republic is playing..Shawn says,"I can see my granddaddy coming down the road..there he is..the music swells and then he tells the band to cut and says, "Stop..stop..it's not him!!!".

  • Is the host you?

  • No, I was a producer for the show.
