Dick Shawn was better than anybody he ever worked with.His character 'LSD' in The Producers made the film more relevant to 60's audiences.

Thanks for this clip of Dick Shawn. I've been searching for years to find Shawn's classic routine -- never saw it-only heard of it. The premise is he's telling a sentimental story about his grandfather?..as the story progresses it gets more dramatic..the Battle Hymn of The Republic is playing..Shawn says,"I can see my granddaddy coming down the road..there he is..the music swells and then he tells the band to cut and says, "Stop..stop..it's not him!!!".
