The chili seems a little out of place to me, but I'm no cook, and I know nothing of Indian Cuisine. Does the green chili have a sweet taste, or what? I would expect it to be slightly spicy. Spicy mixed with the sweetness (or sourness) of the mango seems weird to me. I'd be willing to try it, though.

ill have to try this, the hardest ingredient to find is the jaggery or goord, unless you are in a big city.

The raw mango will be sour, so the spiciness of the chili works well.

Weird. I actually went out and got the ingredients for this today. I wanted to try it. Haven't made it yet, though. : )

The correct word is "PANHA" :-)

@qiron that's how it's pronounced in Marathi, but more commonly as panna, especially in Gujarati and Marwari.
