Lol where the fuck did they get their 0-60 from, and who was driving? A dead body? Accord's 3.5L V6 does 0-60 in ~6.5 seconds, not 15 you stale cunts.
@moyBMW Hondas are more reliable and has a better resale value, but imo the altima and the mazda 6 are more sporty-funner to drive. especially the 3.5 altima coupe. feels like a race car in a family feeling sedan.
@mjpitche the one i drove was a 2008 3.5 coupe. to me it was great. i never had test driven its competitors though (accord 3.5, camry v6, mazda 6) but to me it was really nice. im not sure if its better than a accord 3.5 coupe but first hand driving the altima made me want to get it right there.
@moyBMW Engine may be, but the car sqeeks and rattles on EVERY BUMP, at least the LX models, there are so many plastic panels, just not up to par if you have any standards. Honda and toyota is making too many cars per year even able to care about quality.
@peterabujaber Mazda does not suck...........dont be a baby just because the accord or altima didnt win.....i mean, have you SEEN the mazda6 in comparison to these other two cars, its SO much better inside, and outside. not to mention, its the fastest..
For some reason the automatic transmission on the accoard slows the 0-60 time down far too much. Inside Line also tested a manual accord v6 the got 0-60 in 6.2 (even though other respectable car reviewers got under 6 seconds).
If i wher shopping for a car i would pick the mazda6. i drove by a brand new Altima making loud noises and as far as the accord goes they just make them more uglier through out the years. no one can beat the inside of the 6 nor can anyone beat mazda6 headlight and RX-8 side. i drive a Mazda now and love it to death. drove it to California from Florida without any back aches... ZOOM ZOOM forever. if you wnt a cheap car get the 93-97 Mazda MX-6 car still runes at 350,214 miles. and it runs new
I want a Mazda6, I really do think that it all depends how u take care of your ride! And anyways, there is too many Honda Accords, Toyota Camry's and Altimas/Maximas everywhere I goooooo and in my street I counted 8 of them, geeeeeez, dont think I want to join their club, lol....
@MsJuize My thoughts exactly. when I was shopping for a new car last year, it was between a Honda Accord a Lexus is 250 and the Mazda 6. I chose the 6 because accord is ALL OVER THE PLACE and looks boring, toyotas i didnt even bother and Altima's are such a chick car that is WAY BURNED. so it was between 2007 is 250 or 2010 mazda 6 for the same price. the new honda with its new vcm system is terrible, feels like 4 cilindes in the v6 and the milages per gallon is not that great with the vcm system. The dashboard has too many buttons and no 6-sp auto.
@xoquixxoqafxo We've had one for many years & there's nothing wrong with its transmission. it's a 2004 altima & it's the best all around car i've ever driven. very roomy, good gas mileage, light on its feet (sometimes it feels like a sports car & it's only a V4), looks good. i have zero complaints.
First of all... There is not such thing as a V-4... its called an I-4 for inline 4... Second, you have an 04 Altima and that has a 4 spd auto. The current ones have a CVT which is awful. Whenever you accelerate it sends the engine to its redline and holds it there until you let off. I prefer to feel and hear the engine change through gears. CVTs are for people who don't like driving. Its too bad the 02-06 Altimas had a cheap interior and torque steer in V6 models.
@xoquixxoqafxo what are you? a mechanic? v4 4 clinder what the fuck ever. yes it's a 2004 & it's great. if the new ones suck "according to you" then i wouldn't know. if i go & test one out, then maybe i'll get back to you.
@xoquixxoqafxo I'll tell you which car really suck ASS though...that's the 2008 HONDA CIVIC!!!! my brother has one & gets 22 miles per gallon!!!!!!!!!! talk about shit, i'd take a corolla over than any fucking day.
your brother must drive it like a bitch bc my bf has a 2005 Civic and it gets 33 city and 38 hwy... And I'd take ANYTHING over a corolla, even an elantra. The Corolla is such a piece of shit the people who buy it are sheep.
oh aren't you mature. Grow up loser. My family and friends have owned over 10 Honda's from early 90s to now and none have given us these so called transmission problems. I know they exist for some model years but it all depends how you drive and how they are maintained. You need to grow up, Everyone I know who has driven the current Corolla thinks its Rubbish. Noisy, unrefined, slow, poor handling, cheap interior, bland styling, and falling resale value. I'll stick with my Honda.
@xoquixxoqafxo grow up??? okay, i know a guy (filipino) who owns a transmission shop in hayward CA & i went to him to get a transmission fluid change one time & HE told me that he's had the shop for yearss & he's not had one toyota with a transmission problem! yet he said, he's had many Honda's & other cars come in for transmission repairs. Go figure!!!! Don't believe me??? LMAO, why don't you go to someone in a transmission repair shop & ask them if they get more Hondas in or Toyotas. I fucking
@xoquixxoqafxo bet you they'll say HONDAS!!!! LMAO. Current gen toyota corolla?? Well buddy, you don't have to ask people, cause my brother has a 2008 Honda Civic & I've driven a 2008 corolla...& i can tell you without a doubt that the COROLLA IS A MUCH BETTER CAR!!!!!!!!!! & IT CERTAINLY GETS BETTER GAS MILEAGE. CIVIC GAS MILEAGE IS SHIT!!!! I calculate how many miles my brother gets in his car all the time & it barely averages 22-23 miles per gallon combined!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAAH GROW UP YOURSELF
yes we all know Honda went through a period 98-02 where a lot of their vehicles had transmission problems that fact is well known I even own an 01 Accord but mine has been perfect. No manufacture is perfect and Honda rectified their transmissions starting in 2003 and they have been perfect ever since. Besides you can just get around the trans problems by getting a stick shift which Honda is still the best at. Toyota's are reliable but thats it, they are extremely boring.
There's new products are so lack luster there is nothing in a toyota showroom I would be remotely interested in. The current 09 to present Corolla is the biggest piece of shit, nothing in the interior fits together properly, materials are cheap, no soft touch surfaces anywhere your hands touch and interior is noisy, engine is gutless, and handling is poor. Camry is better to drive but again fit and finish issues in the interior. Face it, toyota used to be good but now they are rubbish
@xoquixxoqafxo Although I must admit that I had driven a 2000 Honda Accord for a couple of days, & it's was an amazing car. It was one of the best driving experiences I've ever had, but I only drove it a couple of days (was owned by a friend of mine). handling, acceleration, comfort were all perfect.
You get what you pay for sir. Really they don't cost anymore than the competition. Everything in this video cost more if not the same as the Accord but the Honda will always have better resale value.
The Mazda also has the worst gas mileage of the 3. And now its almost 2011 and they still have the worst while the Accord gets 20/30 to the Mazda 17/25.
@xoquixxoqafxo ARE YOU FUCKING JOKING? DID YOU EVEN WATCH THE FUCKING VIDEO???? THE MAZDA GOT THE BEST OBSERVED GAS MILEAGE. I THINK YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR ASS FROM A HOLE IN THE GROUND BUDDY.
I did watched the video dumb nuts. Im going by the EPA numbers over their observed numbers. Honestly, I think their numbers are totally off bc they say the Accord takes 7.5 and Altima 7 secs to hit 60? Both of those cars can easily do it in under 7. In most comparison test (MT or C&D) a Honda always does much better than its EPA figure suggest, Mazda have always been less fuel efficient, thats what I dont like about them, they sacrifice MPG for fun, Honda doesn't force you to choose.
@xoquixxoqafxo "dumb nuts?" LOL honda is nothing but a gas guzzling POS, toyota kicks its ass all day. & don't talk about epa, cause epa doesn't know shit; all their numbers are SHIT. everyone knows epa is garbage except YOUR DUMB ASS.
WOW. the only dumb ass here is you for thinking that Toyota is still this amazing car company. They are SHIT now. They don't build a single car that impresses anyone and their interiors are GARBAGE. Why do you think the Camry wasn't in this comparo... bc it doesn't deserve to be, all toyota buyers are sheep.
@xoquixxoqafxo Honda is garbage, Toyota is much better. Toyota looks better & has better "ACTUAL" fuel consumption instead of BS EPA numbers. & besides a couple of recent hiccups, Toyota is more reliable than Honda. & this is just one comparison out of many, wake up and smell the coffee.
@xoquixxoqafxo I have to agree with you on that. Toyota is slowly going downhill. Not to mention ther vehicles are as fun as jury duty. I got the chance to compare a toyota highlander and a mazda cx-9. Not only was hemazda cheaper and offered everything the highlander did, the cx-9 had soul to. Toyota quality ad everything is sleeping. If you ask me hyundai and toyota are changing places.
Maybe if you were to put a comparable Altima in that comparison. 3.5 SE base? How about a 3.5 SE with leather and Nav? Wow... not even fair for the Altima
Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm a hardcore Nissan fan, and it's disappointing to read reviews whose critics seem to not give two shits about Nissan.
nissan and accord are stronger than mazda. mazda becomes very shaky after it gets old. i had a 626 mazda it had very good fuel economy but it was very shaky when it came to making turns.
@doryanishayan man the last 626 was made in 2002, it's been discontinued for nearly a decade. You need to get a new car period. I have owned two honda's and two mazda's, including accord and 626. Everything gets shaky after it gets old.
My dad wanted a Nissan like that. Then he test drove a 2002 BMW 745Li, roomy very sporty looks. And cost him 16grand. With a 4.4L V8 with 330hp this thing cruises to 110 with you thinking it's 70. And with a top speed of 150, it also feels very stable at high speeds
i really thing the altima v6 is much strong than the mazda 6. and i hate how big the mazda 6 looks. The mazda 6 interior looks cheaper than the accord and altima. i think its more fun the drive when the steering wheel gets a bit heavy, testing the mazda myself, its just too light for a car that "supposely fun to drive" oh wells
@v1per808 the mazda's 3.7 has a better higher end than the altimas engine though, the altima will beat it to about 100 but after that the mazda will probably win. but who races past 100 these days lol
@idiotsawvfr5 actually the mazda 6 V6 is not as good as the altima. the altima has one of the best V6 in the market. Also the transmission int he mazda is very shitty, no offense. But the Altima can beat the mazda 0-60, 60-100. But i really disagree about mazda beating altima after 100 mph, once the altima beats the mazda 6 in 100 mph theres no way the mazda can catch up. thats a fact.
@v1per808 well my friend has a 4 cylinder with a manual and the transmission is pretty clunky when i drove it, but i dont know maybe they changed the altima engine but from i recall there top end isnt great no offense, but off the line and till about 100 the car is hella fast.
@idiotsawvfr5 well of course, most manual transmission is clunky, but automatic, the nissan is one of the best. From what I tested, the 4 cylinder Mazda 6 is very weak and the altima was pretty strong for a 4 cylinder. I loved the manual mode in the altima, its very quick in response compared to the mazda 6 there was some lag time. The altima is actually pretty well done in the top of the line one which is the SR. I think it earned more praise than any sedans that is top of the line.
@idiotsawvfr5 But still the altima can beat the mazda even after a 100 because the weight of the altima is lighter and has a bit more HP. I liked the mazda design, but i still don't think it could match its competitors.
@idiotsawvfr5 rofl...nice. but if u do decide to buy a new car, i do advise you to test drive the new altima, ford fusion, and mazda 6. I don't know much about cars, but from what i tested and from what i read from magazine before i bought my 2010 Altima, I was really close to buy a toyota camry, but now i decided the altima 2010 and it ROCKS! lol
@v1per808 ah dude i love the new fusion, the 6 is nice too and i have sat in the altima there all very nice cars, i perfer my 1997 toyota avalon though haha i love that car lol but the accord i have is just the daily beater lol
@idiotsawvfr5 the new avalon looks really nice, but for the price of it, i think BMW 3 series will be better or the new Maxima or G-37. But Honda is good with daily commuting, but the downside to that car is that they don't have any especially great things in the car, its just good. lol Also the brakes on the Honda is not the best too. But Hondas are good.
@v1per808 haha i wish i had the new one. i would pick a g37 or a maxima if i didnt have my honda lol the avalon is more of a sleeper to me i suprise alot with it lol but yeah i hate the brakes on my honda, my rear pads are soooo small the metal started hitting the rotter at only 40 k which isnt bad but the brake pads like 3-4 inches long lol, but i got the lower end motel idk if there was a difference though lol
@idiotsawvfr5 haha dude that sucks, yea the G37 are good. I wanted that car but its kinda too expensive. haha and the maxima is a nice car, but its the same size as the altima, well kind of. haha so i bought the altima instead. But the new avalons are really nice, but its like riding a sofa though.hahaha. But if u do buy a new car, good luck on ur search though. test drive as much as u can and do ur research. lol
@v1per808 yeah it does lol yeah definately haha the maxima seems just a nicer altima, i like the new altimas my parents might buy one lol oh yess haha the avalons back seat is huge and comfy haha. oh trust me i will haha i hate buying crappy products lol.
First off never compare stock manufacturer cars at their best from two different years. From one year to the next different technologies will be prevalent offering different performance ratings. Second this video is false, either that or the drivers used are beyond terrible. The 2008 Nissan Altima gets a combined fuel economy of 22 mpg, 2009 gets 24 combined. 2008 runs a 6.2 second 0-60 strip and an 14.3 quarter mile strip. 2009 Runs a 6.0 0-60 strip and 14.2 quarter mile. Biased video much?
@simulatedzero Ask yourself one question before you go on a tangent. What does Edmunds get from being Mazda biased? Just face facts that the Mazda happens to be a better choice according to them.
i test drove the alima v-6 and accord v-6 but not the mazda. the altima is headache on wheels and is very stiff and jittery with bumps. the accord still maintains good handling with a much better ride.
@Moemxxxking Have you read the 1001 ways Jaguar will fall apart? Includes exploding transmission while driving. Failed electrical for no reason. etc etc... Expensive euro trash. Which is currently owned by Ford. Ford owns Mazda, Volvo....
I don't understand why the American market is only satisfied with V6 (3 litre or bigger) and bigger engines. How do we Europeans manage to get around with 4 cylinder engines?
@mullbenkt Because they prefer NA(Naturally Asperated) power more than turbo. Partly because It's more expensive to manufacture turbo engine. High and expensive maintainance. If it's well made then it'll be expensive(which means no one will buy it). If poorly made it will fail(which no one will buy also). Also, turbo are known to have poor reliability rating throughout the years.
@NSX00000 I never mentioned turbo. Who needs it? I can overtake a big truck with my 2 litre 8v Golf. Why do Americans need av 2-300hp V6 in a slightly bigger car?
@mullbenkt Most Euro 4 bangers are turbo. That's how they keep up with power. It's the power to weight ratio. Most european cars are compact light weight. While these US cars are mid-sized to full sized. A 2 Liter will drive but it will wear and tear prematurely and not efficient to pull the car's weight. Of course a big truck would likely to lose a race with you because it's designed to haul weight not speed. Now, try pulling 2 tons of weight with your 2 liter and compare it with the big truck.
@mullbenkt Well there you go. You just answered your own question to begin with. There are diferent people so they market cars size that fit different interest. It looks stupid if you're 6 feet something tall and weighs like some hundred kilos and you drive a compact that fits only for a 5 feet person.
@dmnevels1 It's funny, the 03 v6 altima stick did it in 5.9 seconds and automatic 6.2. How would they have added more horse power yet have over a second slower time. That doesn't sound right. Sounds like a Mazda commercial. I know I can mop the floor with any Mazda in my 03 3.5 SE.
how is a CVT sporty?

oh aren't you mature. I'll stick with my Honda.
xoquixxoqafxo 1 year ago
@xoquixxoqafxo grow up??? okay, i know a guy (filipino) who owns a transmission shop in hayward CA & i went to him to get a transmission fluid change one time & HE told me that he's had the shop for yearss & he's not had one toyota with a transmission problem! yet he said, he's had many Honda's & other cars come in for transmission repairs. Go figure!!!! Don't believe me??? LMAO, why don't you go to someone in a transmission repair shop & ask them if they get more Hondas in or Toyotas. I fucking
rayj778 1 year ago
HAHAHAHAAH GROW UP YOURSELF
rayj778 1 year ago
@rayj778
yes we all know Honda went through a period 98-02 where a lot of their vehicles had transmission problems that fact is well known I even own an 01 Accord but mine has been perfect. No manufacture is perfect and Honda rectified their transmissions starting in 2003 and they have been perfect ever since. Besides you can just get around the trans problems by getting a stick shift which Honda is still the best at. Toyota's are reliable but thats it, they are extremely boring.
xoquixxoqafxo 1 year ago
@rayj778
Face it, toyota used to be good but now they are rubbish
xoquixxoqafxo 1 year ago
@xoquixxoqafxo Although I must admit that I had driven a 2000 Honda Accord for a couple of days, & it's was an amazing car. It was one of the best driving experiences I've ever had, but I only drove it a couple of days (was owned by a friend of mine). handling, acceleration, comfort were all perfect.

@belizetj
The Mazda also has the worst gas mileage of the 3. And now its almost 2011 and they still have the worst while the Accord gets 20/30 to the Mazda 17/25.
xoquixxoqafxo 1 year ago
@xoquixxoqafxo ARE YOU FUCKING JOKING? DID YOU EVEN WATCH THE FUCKING VIDEO???? THE MAZDA GOT THE BEST OBSERVED GAS MILEAGE. I THINK YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR ASS FROM A HOLE IN THE GROUND BUDDY.
rayj778 1 year ago
@rayj778
I did watched the video dumb nuts. Im going by the EPA numbers over their observed numbers. Honestly, I think their numbers are totally off bc they say the Accord takes 7.5 and Altima 7 secs to hit 60? Both of those cars can easily do it in under 7. In most comparison test (MT or C&D) a Honda always does much better than its EPA figure suggest, Mazda have always been less fuel efficient, thats what I dont like about them, they sacrifice MPG for fun, Honda doesn't force you to choose.
xoquixxoqafxo 1 year ago
@xoquixxoqafxo "dumb nuts?" LOL honda is nothing but a gas guzzling POS, toyota kicks its ass all day. & don't talk about epa, cause epa doesn't know shit; all their numbers are SHIT. everyone knows epa is garbage except YOUR DUMB ASS.
rayj778 1 year ago
@rayj778
WOW. the only dumb ass here is you for thinking that Toyota is still this amazing car company. They are SHIT now. They don't build a single car that impresses anyone and their interiors are GARBAGE. Why do you think the Camry wasn't in this comparo... bc it doesn't deserve to be, all toyota buyers are sheep.
xoquixxoqafxo 1 year ago
@xoquixxoqafxo Honda is garbage, Toyota is much better. Toyota looks better & has better "ACTUAL" fuel consumption instead of BS EPA numbers. & besides a couple of recent hiccups, Toyota is more reliable than Honda. & this is just one comparison out of many, wake up and smell the coffee.
rayj778 1 year ago
@rayj778
Honda is fun to drive. Toyota puts me to sleep. Obviously I'm awake cause I drive Honda's so you need to wake up and smell the coffee

If you ask me hyundai and toyota are changing places.

nissan and accord are stronger than mazda. mazda becomes very shaky after it gets old. i had a 626 mazda it had very good fuel economy but it was very shaky when it came to making turns.
doryanishayan 1 year ago
@doryanishayan man the last 626 was made in 2002, it's been discontinued for nearly a decade. You need to get a new car period. I have owned two honda's and two mazda's, including accord and 626. Everything gets shaky after it gets old.
t5e2 1 year ago
So are these very high 0-60 times the result of all these cars being autos, or just Edmunds regular slow driving?
wharghoul 1 year ago
My dad wanted a Nissan like that. Then he test drove a 2002 BMW 745Li, roomy very sporty looks. And cost him 16grand. With a 4.4L V8 with 330hp this thing cruises to 110 with you thinking it's 70. And with a top speed of 150, it also feels very stable at high speeds

i really thing the altima v6 is much strong than the mazda 6. and i hate how big the mazda 6 looks. The mazda 6 interior looks cheaper than the accord and altima. i think its more fun the drive when the steering wheel gets a bit heavy, testing the mazda myself, its just too light for a car that "supposely fun to drive" oh wells
v1per808 1 year ago
@v1per808 the mazda's 3.7 has a better higher end than the altimas engine though, the altima will beat it to about 100 but after that the mazda will probably win. but who races past 100 these days lol
idiotsawvfr5 1 year ago
@idiotsawvfr5 actually the mazda 6 V6 is not as good as the altima. the altima has one of the best V6 in the market. Also the transmission int he mazda is very shitty, no offense. But the Altima can beat the mazda 0-60, 60-100. But i really disagree about mazda beating altima after 100 mph, once the altima beats the mazda 6 in 100 mph theres no way the mazda can catch up. thats a fact.
v1per808 1 year ago
@v1per808 well my friend has a 4 cylinder with a manual and the transmission is pretty clunky when i drove it, but i dont know maybe they changed the altima engine but from i recall there top end isnt great no offense, but off the line and till about 100 the car is hella fast.
idiotsawvfr5 1 year ago
@idiotsawvfr5 well of course, most manual transmission is clunky, but automatic, the nissan is one of the best. From what I tested, the 4 cylinder Mazda 6 is very weak and the altima was pretty strong for a 4 cylinder. I loved the manual mode in the altima, its very quick in response compared to the mazda 6 there was some lag time. The altima is actually pretty well done in the top of the line one which is the SR. I think it earned more praise than any sedans that is top of the line.
v1per808 1 year ago
@idiotsawvfr5 But still the altima can beat the mazda even after a 100 because the weight of the altima is lighter and has a bit more HP. I liked the mazda design, but i still don't think it could match its competitors.
v1per808 1 year ago
@v1per808 well i dont know much about either cars so ill take your word lol i actually drive an 06 accord lmao
idiotsawvfr5 1 year ago
@idiotsawvfr5 rofl...nice. but if u do decide to buy a new car, i do advise you to test drive the new altima, ford fusion, and mazda 6. I don't know much about cars, but from what i tested and from what i read from magazine before i bought my 2010 Altima, I was really close to buy a toyota camry, but now i decided the altima 2010 and it ROCKS! lol
v1per808 1 year ago
@v1per808 ah dude i love the new fusion, the 6 is nice too and i have sat in the altima there all very nice cars, i perfer my 1997 toyota avalon though haha i love that car lol but the accord i have is just the daily beater lol
idiotsawvfr5 1 year ago
@idiotsawvfr5 the new avalon looks really nice, but for the price of it, i think BMW 3 series will be better or the new Maxima or G-37. But Honda is good with daily commuting, but the downside to that car is that they don't have any especially great things in the car, its just good. lol Also the brakes on the Honda is not the best too. But Hondas are good.
v1per808 1 year ago
@v1per808 haha i wish i had the new one. i would pick a g37 or a maxima if i didnt have my honda lol the avalon is more of a sleeper to me i suprise alot with it lol but yeah i hate the brakes on my honda, my rear pads are soooo small the metal started hitting the rotter at only 40 k which isnt bad but the brake pads like 3-4 inches long lol, but i got the lower end motel idk if there was a difference though lol
idiotsawvfr5 1 year ago
@idiotsawvfr5 haha dude that sucks, yea the G37 are good. I wanted that car but its kinda too expensive. haha and the maxima is a nice car, but its the same size as the altima, well kind of. haha so i bought the altima instead. But the new avalons are really nice, but its like riding a sofa though.hahaha. But if u do buy a new car, good luck on ur search though. test drive as much as u can and do ur research. lol
v1per808 1 year ago
@v1per808 yeah it does lol yeah definately haha the maxima seems just a nicer altima, i like the new altimas my parents might buy one lol oh yess haha the avalons back seat is huge and comfy haha. oh trust me i will haha i hate buying crappy products lol.

sikhforlife1 1 year ago
First off never compare stock manufacturer cars at their best from two different years. From one year to the next different technologies will be prevalent offering different performance ratings. Second this video is false, either that or the drivers used are beyond terrible. The 2008 Nissan Altima gets a combined fuel economy of 22 mpg, 2009 gets 24 combined. 2008 runs a 6.2 second 0-60 strip and an 14.3 quarter mile strip. 2009 Runs a 6.0 0-60 strip and 14.2 quarter mile. Biased video much?

I know, why we in Europe have a different type of Accord, it's about the same car as an Acura!
OSXlover 1 year ago
I don't understand why the American market is only satisfied with V6 (3 litre or bigger) and bigger engines. How do we Europeans manage to get around with 4 cylinder engines?
mullbenkt 1 year ago
@mullbenkt Because they prefer NA(Naturally Asperated) power more than turbo. Partly because It's more expensive to manufacture turbo engine. High and expensive maintainance. If it's well made then it'll be expensive(which means no one will buy it). If poorly made it will fail(which no one will buy also). Also, turbo are known to have poor reliability rating throughout the years.
NSX00000 1 year ago
@NSX00000 I never mentioned turbo. Who needs it? I can overtake a big truck with my 2 litre 8v Golf. Why do Americans need av 2-300hp V6 in a slightly bigger car?
mullbenkt 1 year ago
@mullbenkt Most Euro 4 bangers are turbo. That's how they keep up with power. It's the power to weight ratio. Most european cars are compact light weight. While these US cars are mid-sized to full sized. A 2 Liter will drive but it will wear and tear prematurely and not efficient to pull the car's weight. Of course a big truck would likely to lose a race with you because it's designed to haul weight not speed. Now, try pulling 2 tons of weight with your 2 liter and compare it with the big truck.
NSX00000 1 year ago
@NSX00000 Just admit it, it's a status symbol. Why are they mid-size to full sized? And fuel economy, doesn't that mean anything?
mullbenkt 1 year ago
@mullbenkt Well there you go. You just answered your own question to begin with. There are diferent people so they market cars size that fit different interest. It looks stupid if you're 6 feet something tall and weighs like some hundred kilos and you drive a compact that fits only for a 5 feet person.
NSX00000 1 year ago

@dmnevels1 It's funny, the 03 v6 altima stick did it in 5.9 seconds and automatic 6.2. How would they have added more horse power yet have over a second slower time. That doesn't sound right. Sounds like a Mazda commercial. I know I can mop the floor with any Mazda in my 03 3.5 SE.
