Despite all these controversies and issues on Dorje Shugden, HH Gaden Trisur Rinpoche, the ex throne holder of Lama Tsongkhapa, 101th Gaden Tripa appointed by HHDL himself will be soon giving a Dharma discourse in Shar Gaden! where Dorje Shugden practitioners who have been excommunicated reunited, rebuilt a monastery for themselves so that they can continue their Dharma practice in peace without getting abused.

I do not doubt HH the Dalai Lama is a great being and may perhaps be a "living Buddha". He is wise and compassionate. So why is he so uncompassionate towards his own people practicing Dorje Shugden?
The main concern for people who are not interested in politics is not whether or not Shugden is against the cause of Tibet, but rather this practice has been given by their holy teacher and they wanted to practice it. It has nothing to do with whether they are Chinese or Tibetans nor their political inclination. SO why not just let them practice for heavens sake!!!

once we start saying that this practice or that practice is wrong, it opens up a whole can of worms. That questions the validity and "correctness" of all the other teachings that you could have received from your lama.
And anyway, it cannot just be decided by ONE person that this or that practice is wrong. The way that Dalai Lama "decided" that DS practice was wrong and the ensuing ban was not really in line with the vinaya. Read about it on dorjeshugden (d ot) com
No matter how much dalai Lama and his "supporters" try to quell DS practice, it is impossible as DS is a buddha - how can you suppress a buddha?
It is illogical to say suddenly that this practice is wrong - does this mean all those thousands of practitioners who have prayed to DS for over 350 years are all wrong? Dalai lama's guru are wrong? Dalai lama himself was wrong for half his life? If they were all wrong about DS, then that begs the question: what else are they all wrong about?
Would a monk like HH Dalai Lama, full of compassion, wisdom and kindness cause harm to others? Intentionally force a great divide in the Tibetan community? Lie about the violence, discrimination and ostracisation that some in the Tibetan community are facing?

Tibetan government has not been able to anything about the independence situation despite the many years of trying. They should take charge of the situation and admit their failure instead of blaming it on an ancient buddhist practice that has no relevance to the current situation.

I do not support the ban and wish very much that the ban will be lifted. There has been so many lifetimes of connection between DL and DS. DL has written praise to DS. DL has ban DS. What's next? Leave politics aside and just do your practice. Home is where the heart is and where you lay your hat. Tibet fell into the Chinese hands is due to Tibetans previous group karma. The main concern for people who are not interested in politics is not whether or not Shugden is against the cause of Tibet, but rather this practice has been given by their holy teacher and they wanted to practice it. once we start saying that this practice or that practice is wrong, it opens up a whole can of worms. That questions the validity and "correctness" of all the other teachings that you could have received from your lama.
And anyway, it cannot just be decided by ONE person that this or that practice is wrong. The way that Dalai Lama "decided" that DS practice was wrong and the ensuing ban was not really in line with the vinaya. Read about it on dorjeshugden (d ot) com

No matter how much dalai Lama and his "supporters" try to quell DS practice, it is impossible as DS is a buddha - how can you suppress a buddha?
It is illogical to say suddenly that this practice is wrong - does this mean all those thousands of practitioners who have prayed to DS for over 350 years are all wrong? Dalai lama's guru are wrong? Dalai lama himself was wrong for half his life? If they were all wrong about DS, then that begs the question: what else are they all wrong about?

Leave politics aside and just do your practice. Home is where the heart is and where you lay your hat. Tibet fell into the Chinese hands is due to Tibetans previous group karma. So it will be group Karma also to get it back and I doubt the right kind of karma is frm negative actions. Otherwise why even practice Buddhism?

However there has been a huge change within the last 50 years in that Tibetan Buddhism has spread far and wide OUTSIDE of Tibet. So many buddhist centres has flourished and thousands of of people have taken ordination. This is what I rejoice in.

I don't think that this is the point people are arguing. The fact that it was a feudal theocratic serfdom is well known and agreed upon by almost all unbiased tibetologists. The majority of tibetans who were not monks were tied to the land and worked to support a hereditary elite who were largely religious figures, its hard to debate that it was not.

These outbursts of violence by the Uighers and the Tibetans are the result of tensions caused by these people feeling :
1) Their culture is being eroded by the influx of Han settlers,
2) Resentment that they are being economically and culturally marginalized in their own ancestral land,
3) Treated as second-class citizens and discriminated against by the majority Han Chinese.

Tibet had a feudal society, a tiny minority of robber barrons and Lamas with the rest of the population living as oppressed servants. Indian High court in New Delhi is summoning Dalai Lama to court due to his unconstitutional ban on the ancient practice of Dorje Shugden on his own people.
In India where there are so many religions and their subsects, it is unheard of that a secular/religious leader can issue such a ban.

The point is that Dalai Lama MAY NOT BAN ANY FORM OF WORSHIP IN A FREE AND DEMOCRATIC INDIA.
Because of this ban, Dalai Lama is going to court. He has been summoned by the High Court in Delhi to plead his case.
By the Dalai lama going to court is a huge message that WHAT HE IS DOING IS WRONG.
United Nations have sent representatives to investigate the ban from Dalai lama as it is not what a democratic leader should do.

There is large controversy looming over HH Dalai Lama banning the practice of a 350 year old worship of a particular protector force propagated by his root teacher Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche. do you think that theocracy is ever a good idea? do you understand the pitfalls of mixing religion with politics? Europe, of all places should understand this -- there should always be a separation of church (religion) and state. i think tibet should be freed from the chinese rule, but they need something other than theocracy - other than the rich lamas, the common people lived like servants in Tibet. little boys were taken forcibly to be sexually abused by the monks as well. :( it's sad.

"Dalai clique" are formed by former Tibetan slave masters and their descents. They have known it is impossible for them to fight back because they are outnumbered by their former Tibetan slaves who picked up rifles and kicked them out of China in 1959. Those slave masters had carried out an anti-China guerrilla war in Tibet and other provinces of China from 1959 to 1971, but failed again and again for the same reason--- they were outnumbered by their former Tibetan slaves who picked up rifles.
