  • Wow .... Ok... Chi is a neural twitch in an autonomic muscle response. Its not some fantastic voodoo that makes you super human. It is a partially trainable reflex action. You practice enough of whatever technique and you to can do some pretty funky stuff with it. No touch knockouts are a farce and should be treated as such. If you touch yourself with a hot spoon and flinch you have used "chi" to aviod further pain. Nothing mystical, a label given to a body function that wasn't fully understood.

  • How do you explain things that shaolin monks do? I saw one guy's getting hit like 10 times with wooden stick in his balls and then they broke that stick on his head. -_-

  • chi is a fuckin bullshit for weak people

  • @Kanazawa88 How do you define "weak" people and contrast them to your notion of "strong" people?

  • air!!! :D

  • I don't believe chi can be denied. It's scientifically proven that all matter is made of light which is made of energy. Light spinning at high speeds is like that of a bicycle wheel turning so fast that nothing passes through its spokes. The light makes up quarks which makes up the building blocks for atoms and ultimately everything else you see before you. However, just as you can control wind by fanning or blowing out your mouth, I don't believe you can achieve mastery over chi.

  • 'Chi' is what happens when people forget the basics of physics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and basic science in general.

  • look the point is EVERYONE HAS CHI weather they want to or not......the fact u dont know that ur always using it ALL the time is ur problem. chi works with all forces of the universe the "air" was produced from ur body involuntarily producing chi to increase the flow.

  • personally though i do believe that the mind can affect bodily function to seemingly unnatural levels - but purely from a psychological point of view; academics make no secret that mentality can have a significant effect on physiological/cellular function via means which are are poorly understood.

unfortunately once again back to argument this is mostly irrelevant to the subject at hand,a) whether an immaterial force of chi exists and b) whether it can be implemented to affect physical matter

  • long sleeves billow the wind. nicely done though

  • Comment removed

  • first reasearch what your going to do then do it PROPERLY and that music is so fucking gay

  • These people commenting below CRACK ME UP. Are you guys all fucking stupid? This guy says he's not using chi in his description people, read the description. IS IT TOO HARD TO READ DUMMIES? Everyone is so ready to discredit someone else that they missed him DISCREDITING HIMSELF before the video even started. Chi isn't a fantasy either, I've seen a Chi Kung master drop people just by touching them. There is a martial art form called "push-hands" based on this. Educate yourselves.

  • Chi is a fantasy, the reason Chi "masters" can drop people by just touching them, is because the masters acts upon peoples belief. If people belief they would feel a chi-punch, they feel it. If they don't belief, they feel nothing. It's all about expectations, you can't use chi against a non-believer.

  • I suppose you are saying this from your ill conceived notions of the world, just like every other retard that just simply "knows" cuz they do. I have watched and particiapted at these dojos, and my own sensei was a subject used at a tournament where "push hands" was a part of the major event. Keep your rhetoric to yourself about the things that you don't understand. "Push hands" arent a punch dummy, which shows even further than you know absolutely nothing of what you speak. I've experienced it.

  • you're just some fuckin internet genious that will argue his ignorance over what has been proven many times over, so go ahead and talk, but don't make yourself look stupid with misinformation like you did last time.

  • allspirits111! Ask your sensei to show you any kind of chi-attack on a hardcore non-believer then you will notice that it doesn't work. Chi and other kind of magic only works against people wich belief in it, because the feeling of the effect is only in their minds.

  • Im not going to sit here in some tedious debate with someone who has no knowlege of this. Your closed mindedness is your failure, not anybody elses. I have witnessed chi being used in many different ways. I also have a background in metaphysics and a greater understanding of energy at the quantum level. You need to do your homework before you speak about "belief". Belief has nothing to do with anything here, im speaking from a level of educated knowlege, which trumps belief any day of the week.

  • My mind is not closed, it's open. Open for evidens. If Chi is true it would work even against a hardcore sceptic and non-believer. If you speaking from a level of educated knowlege it should not be hard for you to make a real test. But you maybe not interested in put your belief at risk?

  • Furthermore, Im a hard core non believer of anything withuout viable evidence. Chi harnessing has been practiced for thousands of years. Its the harnessing of an infinite energy through diligent practice. I have also watched people move objects with it, also known as telekinesis. It's your choice to remain in the mundane, but I assure you that if you did any REAL research on it that you would find whatever evidence you need. It exists wheter you believe in it or not. Its also known as Prana.

  • It's not hard to move objects with tricks and convince people wich want to belive that it was moved with telekinesis. I want more than that, I want strict test and real evidens. If you can do anything supernatural you can win James Randis price of 1 000 000 dollars if you can do it under proper observing conditions.

  • You go ahead and believe whatever you want to believe. Nobody is going to do the work for you. Science has proved the existence of this energy as being within us, and all around us, all the time. They have also proven that consciousness has a direct effect on it's "behavior". Im not in the field of convincing people, nor do I care to. If you want evidence then I suggest you study quantum physics. There have been plenty of experiments regarding this energy, as well as this "hologram" of reality.

  • There is nothing I can say to anyone who is waiting for the chance to discredit the existence of "more". The very foundation of your thinking cannot hold a house that large. Im not trying to insult you, it just cannot be done in a few paragraphs. There is much more to this world than what you see before you, but in order for you to see it you need to take the blinders off. Start with quantum physics, like I said, if u need tangible evidence. Go from there. That's my advice to you.

  • It's very easy to convince me. The only thing you or someone else has to do is to show me something that you can do with chi that not could be done in any other way.

  • @sspito youtube qigong master

do you know einsteins theory to relativity? you should research quantum physics as suggested. Everything around you is comprised of energy, and fluctuations in energy. Mere particles rather than solid entities. It has been proven that hardly anything in existence is actually solid. Nothing is as it SEEMS, not even the wall beside you is a solid entity in all reality.

  • @sspito very easy to convince you?

simple...go on youtube which i hope you already are because if your not...im gonna be asking many more questons..

    than type in shoalin monks..

now watch them be hung from ropes...be held in place by a spear trident stand...watch them break bricks..

but if your realy that sceptical (did i spell it right?) than here...qi is an energy source...nothing more we all have it willing to use it or not...you have it..

also qi(chi) is used by some massagers..

  • @chicontrol I went to an asian massage clinic and they used chi on my wooden staff which made it longer and harder and then it started overflowing with it's own chi which sprayed all over the place.

  • sspito is being way to nice with you.

Listen up, troll. Either you present verifiable, credible evidence that chi exist, or you lift your hands from the keyboard and punch yourself in the face with them.

  • Why dont you go fuck yourself sideways you fuckin pasty faced cookie tin fillin swede. I suppose you believe in Jesus or some shit like that, right? I dont have to prove shit, ive witnessed what your feeble mind could not grasp. It doesnt need YOU to believe in it fuckass. You're not as important as you think. SO Take YOUR hands off the keyboard and kill yourself... you're runnin late you soft skinned BITCH.

  • Oh my.

You seem so full of anger, hate and negative energy. I advice you to go meditate, to get your chi circulation in order.

You should also consider levitating. I'm levitating right now, and it's really awesome!

  • @esgietheqroue You see your chi circulation comment, Is more so making fun of the 4 noble concepts. Not this man or the concept of chi; Almost every part in the world besides most western parts believe there is some sort of spiritual energy that all things which contain a spirit possess.

You see the guy who replied to you his name is allspirits111 not monk or something like that, It clearly shows for all of us to behold how extremely ignorant and unintelligent you are. Have a nice day I will :D

  • @Mokutou777

I love spirituality. Especially when it comes in the guise of poorly written youtube-comments, full of grammatical errors and insults.

Could you please write some more? I can feel the divine energy of the cosmos through your writing.

  • What a relief to see a this. Anyone can put out a candle with a firm shove of the hand. You don't need that fantasy chi.

  • Search Chi projection kerosine candle

  • You mean the kerosene lamp? Looks impressive on the video, but as a critical thinker I'd want to see this man perform this in controlled conditions. If he could do it then, he'd be recognised as a very powerful individual even by the most sceptical amongst us.

  • I swear it to you, this man is real. There are more guys like him, their are guys that can put their finger in a watermelon that is hanging free, chi does exist. Go to the seminars in kentucky of the NG family style. When you see it with your own eyes.. You know, we only use 1/4 of our brain, scientist don;t know where the other 3/4 is for. Chi is like a religion, why does god exist but chi not? Why did god made us and isn;t chi leading us?

  • So chi is connected with god, and as long as you believe in the existence of a god then of course chi is easy to accept, but what if you don't believe in god? As far as watermelon example and other feats, I can't rule out the possibility of a trick. Sorry to be so sceptical but as someone who prefers not to just believe without evidence it's not something I'd want to accept at face value.

  • But for one of these guys to do one of these things in controlled conditions and succeed, I's be the first to applaude I can assure you. Just ask them to do it.

  • No, a lot believe that god made the world, that's something else. But you can compare it on an other way, chi is our life energy. Sorry, i'm not english or american so my pron. isn;t very well, talk to ''yogameditation'' or duchamoscomb.

These guys are experts, i know a lot about chi and i can even make you believe in it because it is not fake, only if it is dutch!

  • Your English is fine. I understand what you are saying now. A belief in chi belongs to that branch of metatphysics which is often called vitalism, the life energy, which is seen as something apart from biochemical reactions in the living organism. A reasonable idea before modern biological discoveries.

  • hahahahaha lol

try this with a horizontal puch and stop ur fist 10 cm in front of the flame.... then look at what happens :D

  • No words, just a big F* you, I love it, this is HOW you respond to internet bull****

  • Hmm, try this with a bigger flame (not like a freaking bonfire, just a bigger candle flame). A lot of people use bigger candles than that to demonstrate their chi. Not calling you out on a bad debunk, just making a suggestion.

  • A better suggestion is that a chi beliver does something that can not be explaind as a result of a natural cause. Like blow out a candle in a closed latern or so. But a don't think they can.

  • True, true, but if it's in a closed lantern, how will anyone know that they were blowing it out? Perhaps a jar with a gap in it and them wearing a mask or something might work.

  • Oh, and try doing that while only moving your hands 3 inches or less.

  • been learning techniques (qi & jing) from an uncle thinking it was all circulation & coordination but since he mentioned it was a non-physical force i'm inclined to come up with a few simple tests, @sspito bit of a bump that's a really good one. the other one i had in mind is based on his mentioning the one doesn't even have to move his hand (much) to make a candle flicker, which is a fairly simple quantitative one. will let you know how it goes & @cr4ckerjake it just has to be a glass lantern

  • ur a bitch. chi exists, it has been proven!! Chi, or ki, or energy, or whtever u wanna call it is real. we all have our own opinions, but dont bullshit us chi users, ok?

  • No chi does not exist. It´s just easy tricks or self-deception people (maybee unconsciously) do to theme self because the want chi to exist. There is no evidence for the existens of chi. Can you prove me wrong?

  • Yes chi can be monitored by a thermal reading device... jackass

  • Im not sold either way, as its not proven, nor is it 'unproven' so to speak. Saying that, one interesting thing to look up (Just google it, i've lost the link) is Shaolin monks drying sheets on their shoulders, quicker than they would naturally if left, also being able to keep a constant body heat in a 0 temperature room, wearing nothing but his monk trousers.

Believe it or not, its a pretty interesting read.

  • I can prove you wrong. And alot of these other commenters at the same time. Media and fatasy fabricate chi to be some type of mystical power. But chi is only learning to conentrate your breathing with your strikes. Even western boxers do it when they punch. Its the air that they force out for extra strength.

  • There's nothing magical about it. Its just controlled breathing for more power.

  • Actually, yes I can. I'll use a thermal camera. I can heat my hand, without any assistance by any object, to over 115 degrees farenheight. If you can do THAT without any use of chi, then you win. No use of any outside assistance, only a hand, and a thermal camera.

  • Ive seen a few ghost, and I know others who have too. I cant prove what Ive seen, but that does not mean that they were not there 10ft in front of me in a well lit stairwell. Can you prove they dont exist? Chi in most martial arts is a physical thing. However, I wont say that its impossible that chi as unseen energy doesnt exists.we ourselves shouldnt even exist, & theres no good reason for us existing...

  • No, I can't prove you wrong. But can you prove me wrong? Have you ever heard of the experiment that harvard (or some other place that has a good reputation) conducted? They put a monk into a cryochamber (which means that the temperature gets below freezing) and placed a wet towel on his back. Well his temperature on the towel rose to the point to where the towel started steaming. now try and prove me wrong.

  • I have the burden of proof for the claims I do.

You have the burden of proof for the claims you do.

If you can give me better evidence that the monk in cryochamber experiment has actually taken place, I have no reason to belive in that story than in stories of gnomes and trolls.

  • faeries are real

  • @sspito trolls are real

  • @seanm1995 unless in extraordinarily tightly controlled circumstances there's no such thing as 'evidence for nothing' so your argument is pretty void trying to get him to prove you wrong

but,for the sake of argument,no personally i haven't heard of it, in fact i doubt anyone's heard of that which makes it even less believable.

if this is in fact as solid an experiment as you make it out to be there will be a journal article listed somewhere about it.

how about you prove yourself RIGHT first.

  • @5210to444 well each to his own, we all have our own beliefs. until either of us has solid evidence, i think we should both just shut up.

  • @seanm1995 agreed & well put

  • lol... u think that chi doesnt have anything to do with it.. CAUSE YOU CANT DO IT!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

  • you used an easy candle

  • That does not make any differens. "Chi" still has nothing to do with it, because there is no such thing like chi. Can you prove me wrong?

  • no but master shur can

  • I highly doubt that. How do you even know he use an easy candle, if this master of yours can prove sspito wrong let him show it in a vid with one of these hard candles.

  • that guy is beyond candles

he projects his chi through people

  • Okay then candles should be no problem for him.....let him prove it in a vid....in fact lets see him break a board without touching it. Or perhaps he can meet one of us in person and see if it works on us.

  • all right you know what bitch

    this is my last response

the only reason your stupid asses cant use your chi is because you dont fully understand what it is

    chi is energy

    chi is light

chi is the air we breath

when you realize this and accept that this energy exists you can use it for a number of things

breaking a board without touching it?

    get real

go visit yogameditation's youtube channel and bring up your argument with i him

  • Chi has everything to do with it. You used small stringed candles that give a smaller fume. The smaller the fume and easier if is to knock out. Chi is everything we own we live off chi. How do you think we got to use our arms? Chi carved pathways into our arms and channeled the chi into them so we can use it at will or intention.

  • yes

  • How I can use my arm? With the help of muscles, tendons and nerves. Quite naturally no surprise. The rest of your reasoning is just excuses. Show me something with 100% security can only be done with these "chi"-forces. Can you?

  • john chang is one of the real videos on youtube. and he does better things than blowing out candles

  • chi exists go learn it .. after that come and prove that im wrong

  • Hahahahaa awesome , i have no idea why people believe they have chi powers hahahaahahhhah.

  • Strange, I got an email saying you sent me a video response, but it wasn't there? Youtube glitch I guess. In anycase, I guess you didn't read my video description before you sent me the video response. I do acknowledge that you can blow out candles with merely wind or anything else for that matter if there were maybe 1-3 candles. Your demo proved both of our points in which "chi has nothing to do with it." That's why I did four at the time. Other than that, nice vid. (^_^)

  • Sorry my mistake. No glitch, I mixed up the videos that I should respond to. But I recognize that, and corrected my respond.

  • It's cool.

  • Som sagt, tragiskt att det ska behöva påpekas!
