Yes, Madonna actually wrote this song in 1992 for her then boyfriend Nick Scotti, her co-writer is credited as Shep Pettibone. The demo of Madonna's version was recorded at the early stages of her Bedtime Stories album project, she gaves the song to Gary Barlow who released it as his second solo single in 1997.
