i drive a 1998 toyota hilux thats toxic green, size 18 rims, checkerplate tray and sports exhaust soon to have a v6 commadore motor in it but this is nice
Im not sure why you would want to lift a 2wd. But that would be better than making it look all mexican and drag its shit all over the ground when you lower it.
@Alex0992: guess you've never seen Trophy Truck racing, some of the most extreme offroad truck racing and those are all 2WD trucks, have you never seen the Nissan Frontier Desert Runner or Tacoma PreRunner? factory 2WD offroad trucks
you apparently can't read because i just stated the reason, you can offroad in a 2WD, you just have to go about it differently than a 4WD
with a limited slip or locker a 2WD can go a long ways before it'll get stuck with the right tires, you just can't crawl like a 4x4 you have to keep your momentum up like Trophy Trucks in Baja races, hence why i used them as a reference
i'm from Kansas, plenty of fields and dirt trails to drive fast offroad, personally i think it's more fun to drive fast offroad like Baja and Rally style, that's just me
what all did you use to lower your toyota like block size in the rear , and in the front did you use drop spindles , or did you crank the torsion bars down !?
3" blocks in the rear, cranked torsions in the front. Spindles are the RIGHT way to go.... But if you do a modest (2"?) drop in the front like i did, it wont ride bad at all.
@genganz that wouldn't work, i think you're thinking of an axle flip, instead of the axle under the leaf springs, mount it about the springs and flip the u-bolts, it'll lower the back i think at least 4" just doing that, i'd add another leaf to keep it from bottoming out when the springs/shocks compress
Yeah...I bought the truck with this exhaust. Just posted it so that people know what a stock 22r sounds like with a glasspack...I cut the tip off shortly after i recorded this:)
i bet its a peice of shit take it of an get a bran new trruck a big truck an put some glasspacks on it ok

i think lowered trucks are retarted. If your gonna have a pickup, get it lifted.
thehuntman46 2 years ago
Why have a lifted 2wd pickup?
You must be a retard

Is a 22r a fucking trophy truck? I have seen them plenty of times on tv
Alex0992 2 years ago
i don't think you got the message, the point is that there is a reason to lift a 2WD truck
snakesonaplane2 2 years ago
@snakesonaplane2 And what would that be? you cant wheel in a 2wd so why lift it??

@snakesonaplane2 haha yeah idk about where your from but up here no one brings their 2x4 out to the mudpit. cuz that would be gay.

never seen a mudpit in a Baja race
