Simply beautiful.....I believe Daniil Simkin was sixteen at the time of this performance.....he is in a class all his own....there are other great male dancers today but few can match his musicality, turns, crispness of movement and sheer grace and power. I do think his dance is almost god-like in perfection.

There are great dancers and then there is Daniil Simkin...he exceeds the bounds of dancing and approaches a god-like perfectiion. I am simply amazed and can not stop watching this amazing video. I would also add that Ms. Miki Hamanaka is equally as brilliant a dancer and the two make a perfect pair. Not since Nureyev and Fontaine have there been two so perfectly paired. Sorry for the continued postings but I simply am mesmerized by the brilliance of the dance.

Two great dancers. The spins are just unbelieveable....great to watch. So enjoyable and so elegant. The male dancer has the same control ice skaters do in their turns and spins. Sheer genius. The best performance of this ballet I have ever soon.

У Симкина великолепный пирует, чемпионский,однако. Папа с мамой были провинциалами, хотя в Новосибирском балете были прекрасные спектакли Виноградова, Провинциалы как могли вырастили чемпиона. Мне кажется, что он не любит балет, лицо у него детское еще,но что хуже - немое. К сожалению, его недостатки - типичные. .Чемпионы в балете - страшно. Времена танцовщиков, которые выразительно застегивали манжет, или умели глядет в глаза каждому зрителю прошли .Мы с вами застали Барышникова и Васильева.

уважаемый владимир, новосибирскую школу назвать провинциальной может только или предвзято или будучи совершенно несведующим человеком! балетная школа новосибирска образована одной из лучших студенток Ленинградской консерватории по классу А.Вагановой-Алисой Никифоровой, окончивший курс педагогов с красным дипломом и прекрасной характеристикой самой Вагановой. Никифорова была последователем вагановского метода и постоянно его развивала. провинция-это не то, что вам кажется!

Когда молодой Виноградов поставил "Ромео и Джульетту" был в составе труппы Долгушин, а Джульетту для московских гастролей попросили станцевать Нину Тимофееву. "Спящая красавица" во дворце съездов с восходящей звездой Васильевой была ниже вреднего.Было это в конце 60-х годов.То,что почти весь балет вырос из Вагановй,и Новосибирск был третьим балетным городом в СССР, я никогда не сомневался.

I'm not overly fond of the choreography, but that has nothing to do with Daniil. He has a sensitivity not common to the style. Other clips on his channel allow us to see him in choreography that better highlights his musicality and control.
