Now, as far as the birth certificate goes, here is Title 8 of the US Code listing what defines a natural born citizen:
"Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is an alien and as long as the other parent is a citizen of the U.S. who lived in the U.S. for at least five years ".
Even IF Obama was born in Kenya, his mother was a US citizen and lived in Hawaii, which makes him a citizen of the United States. You don't have a case.
A Certificate of Live Birth has been produced from Hawaii. Hawaii does not issue an actual short form or long form birth certificate. In other words, the Certificate of Live Birth IS his Birth Certificate.
Even if they did issue a document entitled "Birth Certificate" and it would be produced, you would be crying fowl anyway, and claiming that it was fraudulent. Which takes us back to Square 1. What is your real issue with Obama?

I have no opinion on Obama not being born on US soil as i do not have all facts. But i am interested and if it is proven that he was not born in the US, then he should be removed. If it can be proven he was born on US soil (show the cert!), that is equally fine and just. American law states that to be president you must be born on american soil ( naval ships, embassies, military bases counts as US teritories) or have at least one parent who is an American to be elegible.

Now, as far as the birth certificate goes, here is Title 8 of the US Code listing what defines a natural born citizen:
"Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is an alien and as long as the other parent is a citizen of the U.S. who lived in the U.S. for at least five years ".
Even IF Obama was born in Kenya, his mother was a US citizen and lived in Hawaii, which makes him a citizen of the United States. You don't have a case.

A Certificate of Live Birth has been produced from Hawaii. Hawaii does not issue an actual short form or long form birth certificate. In other words, the Certificate of Live Birth IS his Birth Certificate.
Even if they did issue a document entitled "Birth Certificate" and it would be produced, you would be crying fowl anyway, and claiming that it was fraudulent. Which takes us back to Square 1. What is your real issue with Obama?

Nowhere in the constitution does it say you have to be born in America. It says "Jus Soli" which basically means if you're born here, then you're entitled to America's rights, but that's about it.

yes it does, my mother was born in the philippines and my dad's father in the UK (while he was born in Australia) but i am born in Australia, i can get both Australian and Filipino citizenship and UK residency, likewise if I was born in NZ, Canada, the UK or the US i would be eligible for all three (filipino, australia dn the third)

The point being (in case you really missed it and weren't just trying to wiggle out of an honest response) is that the fire dept. (among many other institutions) is MORE socialist than any of the nationalized health care plans currently being debated. So just endlessly crying "socialism" as an argument against is both stupid and hypocritical. There's no reason helathcare couldn't be a "public service" in the same way as the police, fire dept.'s, etc. It's at least as important.

His grandmother never said she ws present at his birth. That's a lie told by birthers and is exceedingly weak. Anyone who's heard the actual audio of that interview knows that. She briefly misunderstood an interpreted question over a telephone interview with what even the interviewers describe as a bad connection. She answered "yes," then when she understood she immediately corrected them, repeatedly, saying he was born in Hi.

I think we are all still unsure about whether he was born in Hawaii or Kenya. Evidence keeps popping up that he was born in Kenya. Just recently, someone submitted a photo of a Certified Registration of Birth that documented that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. But every time something like that pops up, the US tells everyone it's not true. I'm not saying it IS true, but it's strange how they refuse to believe that anything saying he was born in Kenya is true and insist he was born in Hawaii.

Zero evidence he was born in Kenya. The Kenyan BC was a forgery. It took all of two days for a blogger to find the template they used to forge it from--it was actually an Australian BC that they photoshopped. Same cert. #, same names of registrars, etc. They only changed what they had to.

It makes perfect sense. There's a big difference between "son of this village" and "born in this village." There's even a big difference between "born OF this village" and "born IN this village." I know they're small words, but small words really do change the meaning, otherwise we wouldn't use them.

So according to Africans, every single African American is a son of Africa and was given birth by the womb of Africa. If you apply anthropology to this, everybody is the son of Africa because Homo Sapiens evolved from many of the hominid species in East Africa. Also, I know this because I lived in Kisumu for 12 years.

The Republican party fought the Civil Rights Act with every last ounce of strength. So did some Democrats but it was a Democrat who signed the thing. Then a few Presidents later the Republicans voted the former governor of California who had once supported racist housing ordinances. Since 1960 the vast majority of black people have voted Dem.

I have no opinion on Obama not being born on US soil as i do not have all facts. But i am interested and if it is proven that he was not born in the US, then he should be removed. If it can be proven he was born on US soil (show the cert!), that is equally fine and just. But saying you would overlook that part of the constitution because your party wouldn't take the presidency is ridiculous. Your basically saying, keep the non-American because the alternative wouldn't be your TYPE of American.
