  • I just had a beautiful experience.

Been playing this piece for the first time, and could play it directly without any problems.

Your arrangement is so easy, and at the same time, it sounds so wonderful.

    Thank you.

  • Please make a tutorial !! Thumbs Up if you agree !!!

  • This song from Enya just emits melancholy.Great playing!

  • Hi Mike, I own a Takamine 1980 Arte 10 concert model with Hirade signature. You wouldn't know how much I should insure it for by chance?

  • @incontrast76 My records show that my model 5 cost about $1100.00 back in 1982. I probably paid list price, since I purchased it with a trade in. I've never insured a guitar before (they never leave the house), but you can probably insure it for as much as you want, if you can afford the insurance premiums. I don't think guitars appreciate in value unless they're hand made by someone famous.

  • @oldwhtman Thanks for the reply...I love the warm sound and hope never to part with it.

  • in the it's "capo 1st fret" but i don't see u use capo ?

  • @snkhuong Sorry about that. I chose not to use the capo. Using a capo on the first fret puts the tune in the same key as the Enya recording . . . in case you wanted to play along with her.

  • Is this real? :O Omg, you're really good.

  • Jag tykker om dit arrangement.

    Det är verkligen bra.

    Tack.

  • Dear Mike. You made this Enya tune justice! I wouldn't say I am a 'fan' of hers but she's nice... I prefer you, I am sorry to admit. :-)

    Love,

    Per-Olov

  • @AndanteLargo I wasn't as excited about this tune as the 'Sweet Sixteen' effort, but it had a pleasant sound. And it was simple. Something the student guitarist could enjoy.

  • Well done, MIke! I like your interpretation. Its amazing how many ways a simple tune like this can be played, isn't it? Thanks for mentioning my book!

    Larry Beekman

  • Simply magnificent. I've watched a lot of your videos, and I'm always surprised how they don't have more views. The way you play...I can't really put words to it, but I can feel the emotion.

  • @twb555 Thanks for the kind comment. As for my low view counts, I can only assume it is because the Youtube community is a highly educated, literate and discerning group of people with high standards of excellence . . . or not. And let's face it. There are a lot of really good guitarists on Youtube that make me look like an idiot.

  • Kinda of reminds me of Yasunori's style..

  • Man that guitar sounds so nice what model is it?

  • @patpipp I usually identify the guitar I use in the video information text. Just click the "Show more" link below the video. It's a Takamine.

  • Thank you

  • This is the perfect video for me. First I´m an Enjy fan, second I´m a Lord of the Rings fan and third I´m an Oldwhtman fan.

Thanks for playing, posting and TAB link - Sabine

  • @23462252 Hello, Jorge. I may have to add Beekman's book to my library as well. Enya has written some good tunes.

  • You are my hero
