It's all pricewise, if you want build quality, solid aluminium and a backlit keyboard go for one of these!

Otherwise you can get a pc with the same specs for a cheaper price, but MacOs X is very cool, see if you want to get into that aswell, and this is from a lifetime windows user.

If you want perfection buy a aluminium macbook, but it's pretty expensive. If you want a nice computer for mailing, browsing, chatting, word processing and such buy a PC and format it with XP ( Vista sucks :) )
