Marc is the original Electric Warrier - takes me back to some fantastic times when I was a teenager - he looks so tame now compared with some of today's artists. But back then he was considered so outragious...I remember my father ripping my arc Bolan poster off the wall. I was devestated when he was killed - however it makes me happy that his music lives on. xxx

People forget that by the time Marc Bolan died his career was on the wane. He got tubby and the hits weren't happening. It would have been interesting to see if he would have come back or if he would have been another victim of the glam fad. I personally think that he had the talent to continue to make brilliant music given time. One of the most under-rated guitarists ever.
