Do you make these up as you go along or do you plan the painting before you make it?

Aaalso, were you already a good artist before this, or is this just something you picked up and have random insane talent?

1)About 60% of the time I plan ahead at least a good idea of what I want to do, but some of my favorite pieces have come strictly from improv.Its good to have a starting idea, but there's no limiting how creative you can take it once you get started, and 9 times out of 10 it ends up nothing like I planned it.

2)Um, I had some artistic talent, and had been practicing art all my life, but I guess you could say this is where I discovered myself as an artist.
