I don't like the English "supernanny" very much. She basically just has a set repertoire of about 5 techniques which she applies to every family, no matter what the precise nature of the problem is. She doesn't really inquire into the parents' problems, but just tells them "do this, do that, and everything's going to be fine". At least the German "supernanny" is a qualified pedagogue and family counsellor, who looks at the reasons behind the behaviour. WHY is this boy being aggressive?
