this is blues, this has feeling, but watch YM playing the blues, you feel like " :| " all the time, he cant play the blues at all. Its not about how fast it is, its not forbidden in blues to play fast, but YM cant slow down for a damn second, its like a machine playing not a human being. If i want to listen to something "awesome" then i prefer beethoven or bach to YM's music. And anyway, some people will never understand what the blues is about, they just dont have that thrill.
And I bet you think that guys like BBK and Muddy are the only blues musicians out, and there way of playing it is the one and only way to play it. Your criticism is that Yngwie only plays fast, its contradictory because the people that you justify as blue gods only play slow and messy. Blues is about expressing the soul, I personally think YJM's blues is some of the most tasteful and expressive blues ever seen. I'm not using this as a platform to diss the originals... they are fantastic as well.

It's not the yngwie style. Yngwie makes blues worse. It was great tone, but I can't hear solos from yngwie on blues.
