@hellaspalestra try constantly moving around dancing like a maniac like that, while actually singing at the same time, unlike most people who lip-sync this was the real talent back then. almost nothing computerized, especially no auto-tuning. those are for people who could never sing in the first place. this guy's pretty physically fit, most likely from doing what he does on stage a lot.
Pat's bass-thumping at the beginning is bad-ass. He's a great bassplayer, I wish you could hear him more on Pornograffitti and III Sides. Also, damn Gary blew his voice out pretty bad by this point in the concert.
gary Cherone is really flat for most of this recording, nuno is killing him on this version vocal wise. and damn did he nail that solo.. kudos to him..he is a real underated guitar player i agree! love this song even if this version felt a bit rushed.
Nuno is one of the most underrated guitarists out there. I know many people who know every note of the V/H 5150 album, but very few will testify that they can play every song on porno graffiti
1993 was about when shitvana took over the world, i cant believe it was cool to be a shit guitar player back then. nuno rocks. the poo fighters arent much better either
I wonder why Nuno never got the props he deserved for his unbelievable talent as a lead guitarist. He is an absolute phenom!I love Gary's voice quite a commanding lead.
There are far too many good guitarists who simply never got the exposure. Its not just in that guy's hands, there are so many things that go into getting widespread attention.
true enough, in the sense that eddie pioneered a large part of it. but i think that nuno may have outdone him in terms of ability. it's just my observation. I had my eye on him when i first started playing guitar years ago, remember the first time i heard this solo when it came out...far out...!!!
I play guitar 12 years, Nuno will have Satriani, Vai and Halen for breakfast, but somehow has never been regarded a great like them probably because of his modesty and one wonderfull cheesy song. Shame, extreme was the greatest band ever!!!

nah dude, granted he is top line but eddie is the grandfather of rock for a whole generation of rockers which prolly included nuno.

Nuno "quotes" Voodoo Chile at the end of the solo (where they play the intro again).
