  • @pyramidsofgizah I would hate to be you right now. *smiles

I don't have a boyfriend never have and I don't intend to ever have one but I do have a brother that can track your ip address down. He happened to be reading over my shoulder when you sent your last comment so I'd be a bit more careful if I were you.

  • @mustaffa1611 an excellent example of trolling my good sir!

  • @Nelsonhojax15 Exactly. Can you believe that people still defend this serial murderer? It just goes to show how effective the compulsory publik skool system is at brainwashing people to believe that as long as you wear a silly costume that murder is somehow justified and honorable.

  • @pyramidsofgizah

What about places like Mali and Ethiopia?

  • your people stole this country

  • 7 PEOPLE ARE ALLLL DEAD-MIN!!!

  • lol I love how they are talking with American accents...

  • @mustaffa1611 You know he killed over 4,000 british cocks in one night? hahahaha yeah.......he worked for the British cocks.

  • Killumanati!!

  • 0:42 commander goes epic fail.. standing front of his troops wise man eh?

  • Please learn your history! I could go on and on about the nonsense that is coming for some of the people leaving comments, however I will adress one comment directly. To the person who said that Washington murdered Pennsylvanians during the Whiskey Rebellion, that is an utter lie. While Washington did confront the Pennsylvanians he never ordered an attack, they actually all scattered when Washington arrived in the state. Know your facts before you attempt to form an arguement.

  • I wish you'd all quit blaspheming the name of Washington. Even the natives as far west as modern day Colorado called him 'the great white father'. You've been taught a false history to smear the name and man of God.

  • I heard that mother fucker had, like, 30 goddamn dicks.

  • @memtroita9139 whatever!

  • @memtroita9139 WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, IT WAS BECAUSE OF GEORGE WASHINGTON'S LEADERSHIP AND MILITARY STRATEGY WE WON THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR. IT WAS BECAUSE OF HIS COURAGE THE US CONSTITUTION AND DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE WAS ENFORCED. YEAH I'M HAPPY THAT YOU REMOVED THAT COMMENT!

  • if you don't like it,don't watch it but keep your profane comments to yourself. to NatureLover987, thanks for uploading. I live in Europe and this series is impossible to get here.

  • @memtroita9139 BASED ON YOUR COMMENT, YOU'RE PROBABLY BLACK, OH AND ITS BECAUSE OF GEORGE WASHINGTON YOU'RE SAYING THIS BECAUSE YOU WOULD NOT GET FREEDOM OF SPEECH, YOU WOULD BE SERVING THE BRITISH! AND ONE MORE THING, I HAVE LITTLE PATIENCE FOR SOMETHING IGNORANT RETARD SWEARING ON CHILDRENS VIDEO. WATCH IT HAPPILY OR SCREW OFF!

  • @KASHIV121 you know that was stupid to find their skin color byt he comment

  • DUTY, HONOR, AND COUNTRY! HE WOULD'VE BEEN PROUD TO SEE THE UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY!

  • thanks for posting.

  • Happy President's Day!

  • This would be great for kids just starting to learn about American history.

  • It's not bullshit, its the truth. Washington was not some bloody paragon of goodness, like this film suggests, that's a fucking myth!

Leaving aside slavery it doesn't change the rest. He was a man with good and bad qualities. People these days can think what they like about, as a loyalist i wish he had danced at the end of a rope. That's my opinion but i won't try to change anyone else's.

  • George Washington <3

    Also,Abe Lincoln <3

  • LAY DOWN YOUR ARMS REBELS...OR YOU'RE ALL DEADMUN

  • I've been reading letters Washington wrote during the war. This man led his troops through hell. They somehow endured the war despite facing many near certain disasters like starvation, horrible weather, inexperienced and ill supplied soldiers, defectors, disorganization on the part of the colonial gov't, loyalist traitors, hostile indians, brutal imprisonment by the British, and widespread doubt that they even stood a chance against the world's greatest army at the time.

  • Washington.

    Saviour : Conqueror,

    Hero : Villain,

    Patriot : Traitor

He is all these things, to different people.

  • @AlphaOmega804

    1) Even many of the Indians he conquered respected him.

    2) A villain according to who? Even King George had good things to say about his character.

    3) It's a fair bet Washington and the rest would've been judged as traitors under British law if they had lost, but rebels and revolutionaries generally aren't remembered as traitors in the public mind, on either side (i.e. I haven't known any U.S. northerner who saw Robert E. Lee as a traitor).

  • @logik316 He was considered a villain to the loyalist american's his army drove out and chased across the border to Canada. He was not appreciated when his army invaded Canada and declared marshal law. As for his rebellion, all he really did was replace the wealthy British landowners with American ones. Virginia dominated the senate until passed 1812 (nearly causing the north to secede to Canada).

Also he was a slaveholder, and it was under his example that the US became a long term slave power.

  • @AlphaOmega804

It's only fair that a person be judged by the standards of his time, not some wiseass on Youtube who has the benefit of 200+ years of hindsight. Washington opposed the idea of having kings rule a country. Say whatever you want about him being a rich slaveowner in his personal life, but that was the key to any modern democracy. In any case, Washington didn't actively promote or encourage the slave trade, so you can stop that bullshit.

  • Emzademon is stupid how the hell would u know tht was 235 years ago!!

  • is this from the series called Liberty Kids

  • Emzademon--You're a sick person. If you don't like this country or it's heroes, get the hell out and go back where you came from. William B Dean, MA, 30 year Military vet and unemployed history/English teacher.

  • Is it really true that GW didn't accept payment while serving in the continental army? I have a hard time believing that.

  • @logik316 Washington took no pay. His men also tried to crown him king after he was victorious over the British. He turned the crown down. Occaisionally there comes a man who stands out for remarkable selflessness, resisting the allure of power and sticking to their ideals. Washington and Cincinnatus are the only two men in history to refuse a crown after leading victorious wars. Napoleon even lamented while imprisoned, "They wanted me to be another Washington."

  • @SageofHistory

I have no problem believing the claim that Washington didn't want to be a king. He was getting old, wanted to go home to his family, and never liked politics very much. But even though Washington had lots of land, he wasn't really wealthy in terms of actual cash, and often had to borrow money from his friends. That's why I'm skeptical that he would have turned down a salary.

  • @logik316 There were indeed periods in Washington's life where he was in financial trouble and he did not always have cash on hand. By the time of the revolution however, Washington owned Mount Vernon, 5 farms growing an incredible variety of crops on 8,000 acres, upwards of 300 slaves, countless small business ventures. All told his estimated wealth would be more than 500 Million in today's currency. He was by no means poor.

  • LONG LIVE GEORGE WASHINGTON!

  • I like this film that is a good exposure to young children, but there is NO CAPTION for the deaf and hard of hearing people. You should add the caption for the deaf children's needs.

  • George Washington is just one corner of the Holy Triangle

    Washington-Jefferson-Franklin

They can be our example in our modern struggle for surviving and autonomy.

We need an Assyrian Washington to lead our army

We need an Assyrian Jefferson to write our constitution

We need an Assyrian Franklin to lead our foreign diplomacy

And, of course, all this is doable by a strong faith and hope.

  • @NewBornAssyria Maybe someday you can be the next Washington, Jefferson, or Franklin for your people. ;)

  • bridge lexington, 1º tiro dado na revolução americana, mas em 1770 massacre de boston, 1° men black dead in revolution, paul revere, and o traidor benedict, entregou o forte aos ingleses! good video, "bridge lexington" minut men!

  • fuck the briitsh we have rifles they have musket we have the upper hand usa usa usa usa mother humpers

  • Your thinking of the American civil war you half wit, the north had the rifles the south the muskets

  • We must follow our american patroiots of the past footprints today america is courrpted we must follw the footprints they cannot take away american freedom

  • Washington?

He was a coward who failed as a general getting captured again and again, He rose to the occasion to line his own pockets and those of his friends

I guess its good to have heros though

People always look in the wrong places

  • @TheresAGhostInMyBeer

Oh good God. Yeah, he really lined his pockets. He did it for nothing, and barely missed being shot through numerous times. And neither he nor his armies were EVER captured, jerk. That was his genius - getting his non-army out of trouble.

  • Who the hell has been teaching you history boy?

They need a serious bitchslap as their have filled your head with crap

stop watching cartoons and go and read a REAL history book with facts

    good luck

  • @TheresAGhostInMyBeer

    1st, I'm a woman.

2nd, you foul-mouthed miscreant, seems to me I've spent my SPARE time for fun reading bios about George AND the RevWar (hence my name here). I wasn't just taught by public-school indoctrinators. In fact, my mother degreed in US History AND taught all ages in school. Have you read anything but "proggressive"-propaganda books?

  • 1. Sorry that english isnt my first language

2.d Im sure we are all very impressed by your mothers degree, it obviously gives you infinate if not complete mastery in all subjects involving your countries history,

I guess everything you and your mother know counts for everything right?

Or obviously not in this case

Coming from someone who reads bios for fun

    Hag

  • @TheresAGhostInMyBeer

You are truly contemptible. Good at cussing and name-calling.

No, my mother's knowledge doesn't "count for everything". And I wasn't aware that reading bios and military histories was a bad way to understand history. ("Coming from someone who reads bios for fun") So which is it? Should I just go by public school indoctrination, or read on my own? Given also I am NOT a history major or "expert"? Just an engineer.

  • @theOlLineRebel wow, pat on the back for you, i guess being twice my age makes you that much smarter? given your need to tell me all about yourself to which i must tell you i really dont care, ignorant or arrogant, both apply to you, As nobody elses opionion except your own counts right?

    Good Job

  • @TheresAGhostInMyBeer

That's your least foul post yet. Good for you.

How do you know I'm twice your age?

I tell you about myself because you attack me as if I know nothing beyond basic schooling. Sorry, history is a hobby for me, not just something I was forced to do.

YOU are apparently the ignorant one. And definitely arrogant. Obviously, YOUR opinion is the only one that counts for you to go off profanely like that, so don't give me that liberal canard of "it's only your opinion!"

  • @TheresAGhostInMyBeer

3rd, it seems you missed your English classes. Lacking in punctuation and capitalization. That doesn't speak well of your education.

  • @TheresAGhostInMyBeer he was the richest man in virginia he put everything on the line for his country if they lost he would have lost very thing

    including his life

  • @rogerluvr123 Of course he would

What he did was called Treason

    And he was greedy

  • @TheresAGhostInMyBeer

Bullshit. You need to lay off the beer a bit.

George Washington was captured once during the French and Indian war, and he was young and inexperienced at the time, but he never showed cowardice in the battlefield.

  • This is great! I am a homeschooling mom and my 6 year old son just watched all 10 parts to the George Washington videos for school. I see you have a list of other presidents as well as other important people from history. These are such an incredibly helpful, useful supplement to our lessons. THANK YOU! We plan on watching the rest of your uploads during the remainder of the school year. Helen Keller, Beethoven, Ben Franklin, Wright Bros... this is awesome!!!

  • how

  • There are plenty of accounts, and pictures of Lexington Green. The animators avoided ALL of them.

  • Suck what?

Your attempt to show us the size of your dick?

Damn kid, I seen alot of stupid in my time but fuck your special!

  • I do not think myself equled to this command, as for the pay u have offerd me...huh...i can not except it..."To serve is hounor enough"..."I LOVE THIS COUNTRY, I LOVE MY COUNTRY!" oh man that was awsome! He won my respect there!. He and Abraham Lincoln, was ahead of there times, and full of pateriosm, that was the best with these heros that the had the "vision" that their destiny is in their hands. God bless u all, and merry christmas 09 and happy new year;) /D the one and the only!

  • Washington lost more battles than one.

  • @redcoatrifle. you meant to say "won". Dumbfuck.

  • Yes, he did. And he stuck through, crossed the Delaware and led America's troops to win the revolution. George Washington was an amazing man. There will never be an equal to him. Never.

    God bless America.

  • I find Napoleon or Wellington better. To start with they actually won more battles than lost. They also fought like gentlemen unlike Washington. P.S That was one of the few battles he one.

  • Of course everyone shares their own opinions. It does not depend on how many battles lost or won. He was fighting against the best army in the world with a team of farmers and everyday citizens. Winning a revolution is much different than conquering. And for such a long time, he was not getting any support from Congress. But he stuck through and completed the task to which he was given.

  • @redcoatrifle

"Napoleon better" you do? So a man who sent thousands of French to renslave the freed blacks in Haiti was a good guy? Lucky for you that you weren't a black in Haiti back then cause Napoleon wanted you to be his slave too!

Think about what you'r saying. These men like Washington were rich plantation owners that kept hundreds of blacks in chains to make $. They never did a day of honest work. What about th atrocities against Native Americans? The "Town Destroyer" is GW's ninkname

  • @EBanonymous Well i dont recall Washington do anything to help slave city AKA America. Anyway I'am talking military terms here.

  • @redcoatrifle

Well I can't argue w/ you on that.

  • @EBanonymous

What a narrow-minded 1-track jerk you are, complete with blinders. Never a day of honest work? What do you think all that frontier-tracking and surveying was? I have no doubt you are 1 of these amoral liberals who says "everything is relative" for LIVING (liberal) people but have no sliding scale for those who are dead and cannot change now - IOW, you're an absolutist when it comes to dead people.

  • @theOlLineRebel

Find 1 factual error in my statement, then come back & complain.

Since when did honest work include staealing free Africans, enslaving the, & forcing them to work or you shoot them? Is rape, torture or murder ok? No. & slavery is wrong. But GW did those things. H even sold a slave in 1766 for molasses!

& surveying was a crook's job as in lland speculation which was stolen from the NA Tribes. That's Genocide. The NA called him "The Town Destroyer". Why? Cause of his crimes

  • @theOlLineRebel

That's not "liber" or "conservative" but historical data. I'm not judgeing th past; based on the testimony of people who were alive back then, THEY condmened GW. See Oney Judge, the slave who ran away from him because he enslaved her AGAINST her will. Freedom?

Want morals? Ex 20:16 condemns kidnapping & selling into slavery, which is what they did. These so called Christians went to the same churches Hitler later attended. So ur saying slavery & Genocide was ok? ur sad

  • i love this contry i love my contry.

  • i also love this country, but i hate the government and politics and the one who hurting the country i love

  • It's amazing.

How sweet is fighting for your country's liberty. I am proud of those heroes such as Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and many more after them. The American History is full of nationalism. Cultures are not the same but, after all, they can learn good stuff from each other and, the best lesson from Americans to other nations is that their destiny is in their hands.

Peace be all over the world

    Assur Bless all nations

Long live liberty and freedom of all nations.

  • hear, hear!

    thanks for watching :)

  • @NewBornAssyria

"fighting for liberty" - what nonsense. You must be drinking some stron Kool Aid.

Washington fought for HIS own reasons. But for slaves? No, When Lord Dunmore freed slaves in 1775, Washington & Patrick Henry (liberty speech) & Jefferson were really pissed. Why? Because their slaves ran off to join the British!

So don't come around w/ the garbage that they were fighting for freedom. Only rich white men could vote after 1783 20% of the people! not women, Indians or blacks.

  • Do you not understand that big steps must be taken ONCE at a TIME? If Jefferson did not take out the liberty clause in The Declaration of Independence the entire south wouldn't have helped us in the Revolution. And if we didn't win independence then God knows no one else would have been given the hope to be freed OR to have been given rights. This kind of freedom had never been tried before in the world. I don't believe you were ever put in this position.

  • @NewBornAssyria well said

  • @NewBornAssyria

Khonee, kha dona beetayeleh..garat palshakh khaga kheeta. The best lesson learned from Americans is that Freedom must be fought for. And to quote the great George Washington "It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible". And understand this my Assyrian brother, If Assyrians and all Americans lose their freedom in this Greatest of Nations, then freedom anywhere else is a vanishing dream.

  • @bozez1

    "freedom is best fought for"

Which is why Washington, Jefferson, Patrick Henry & others hated slaves who fought for their freedom.

All the above hunted down their runaway slaves. You can't talk about freedom and be a slaveowner. If you do, you're freedom excludes blacks. That by defintion is racist.

Did they support Vessey Denmark? How abot Haiti's slaves in 1793 when they revolted? No. They fought against them.

  • R.I.P

  • anyone that talks shit about washington is gonna get a beatdown, thats right grow that hemp!!!!!!!

  • the shot heard around the world can send chills down your spine

  • a slave owner is no hero

  • interesting stand..

  • Yet most people of significence where slave owners back then..

  • He is the greatest hero in American history.

  • @merrimac291

    No doubt.

  • fuck you emzademon. I don't see you giving all your money to poor people in Ethiopia. No, you sit fat and well fed in America just like everybody else, while others all around the world starve.

But that's just the reality of the world we live, just like slavery was the reality of the world GW lived. George would've gone shit broke if he freed his slaves just like you'd go shit broke if you spread your wealth.

So go ahead and sit fat and pretty in the happy little world GW fought to create.dick

  • there is no need for money, politics religion or heroes all I know is that this society will not last another thousand years with this current system and I can also tell you that nuclear bombs or disease will not be the cause of our extinction but I know human ignorance will

P.S can't wait for the monetary system to collapse

  • wow kid... jealous cuz you cant live in America?

  • The US gives more of its tax money to foreign countries than any other country on earth. So, before you keep hating on the US, know that despite all its wrong doing, it has still been the single biggest force for the good of mankind that has ever existed.

  • Please mind your language. America is a very generous country. We know the meaning of charity. We are dealing with our sets of problems, as well, right now. America has strayed from what it used to be, it is true... but hopefully, our citizens will take matters into our own hands soon. Do not disrespect George Washington. He was an incredible man and every man makes mistakes. If anything, respect him because he is deceased and was also an amazing American leader. Thank you.

  • @LoquaciousInkSlinger

Charity? What charity might you be referring to? Going to Africa to "help" blacks? Or how about forcefully removing tens of thousands of Native Americans from their lands & killing others for it? That kindof charity which Hitler was his inspiration for the Holocaust?

You want respect? When the did Washington ever respect blacks like Oney Judge & Harry Washington & Hercules - his slaves who RAN away from him to get free. But he tried to get them back. Respect the victims

  • We did not have to fight in France. Do you know how many of our men were slaughtered at Normandy? We are sending donations flying to Haiti, right now. We are in Iraq not only for our own safety but Israel's. We've always been the first to rise against any country's oppression. Are you really going to blame each one of us for what people did in our country centuries ago? Are you telling me that countries never make mistakes? I do respect the victims.

  • yes he is

  • @emzademon Let he who is sinless cast the first stone.

  • @Southernbella511 I'm sorry I'm Atheist I do not believe in sins and there is no denying that George Washington only fought for the rights of white men only and not the rights of Native Americans and other races, and of course women.

  • @emzademon Being an Atheist has nothing to do with it. ;) Sin is just another word for "Wrong doing". Certainly you would not like someone forgetting all your great accomplishments of some of the wrong doings you also might have done. Wether you believe he fought just for "the white man" or not, what he did made it were we could live in this great free country. I for one, am greatful. :)

  • @Southernbella511 You are right that it was great for George to fight for the rights for his own group and I wouldn't care if people forgot my accomplishments In fact heroes and roles models are what hold people back because most Homosapiens tend to follow what they did and rarely think out of the box ahhhh no wonder we live in a Unscrupulous society.

  • @emzademon Hmmm, I disagree. For example, if my role model is Yeshua (or Jesus as most like to call him) then I'm setting the bar pretty high for myself no? And I don't really find our society "unscrupulous". There are parts of it maybe, but compared to the rest of the world we are a very principled civilization. Just look who the world turns to when there's a tragedy. We are always there to help.

  • @Southernbella511 hahahahhahaha money made out of thin air

hahahahhahah politics hahahhaahha capitalism creates pollution

hahahahhaha USA thinks they run the world there is no such thing as a civilized society as long as you have war, money, politics all root cause of crime and violence in the end it doesn't matter what I think or what you think lies are lies and the truth is true and of course I know what is true and what is false

  • @emzademon let it go george washinton was a good man and because of what he did we were able to fight for civic rights and women rights and without the freedom from the british we would still be where they where they were in 1775 under the foot of men and in chains

  • @rogerluvr123 yeah a good man only to his people and not to the black slaves or native americans

  • @emzademon listen ill respect your views if you respect mine please stop bashing my hero i watch this for enjoyment not to get into worthless fights

  • @emzademon

Washington treated his slaves like family, and honored any treaties with the Indians.

  • @logik316 I read that he set them all free when he died

  • one of the greatest man ever be on earth

    R.I.P George washingtong
