  • spotter wasnt doing his job

    good strength though

  • Intelligent call to stop when you did.

  • Hey, great job! I'm 17, probably weigh a little more than you, and I can probably only do 10, maybe 12 if I was lucky. Keep up the work!

  • @bloodovsothis Thanks I am anxious to get back into the gym. Right hand is broken rt now. You keep it up too!

  • @dashiznit005 Hey, would you say your strength shot up significantly in the years after this? What age should you expect to gain more 'mature' muscle, you think?

  • now thats a lot of strength to be able to rep 185 pounds 12 times in a row and being only 17 years old. great job man!

  • @whyisthismyusername thanks bro. I could probly rep that 25 times now and I'm 19 turning 20 in June!

  • @dashiznit005 holy crap 25 times, thats amazing!

  • Сколько он жал?

  • Very good keep it up :D How much you can press now?

  • So not fair, im 5'1

  • 5 sets of 5, for strength i'd say is the best but nevertheless this guy was quite strong, at 17 years old doing 185 12 times? oh just wondering how tall are you?

  • i have been doing dumbbell fly's for pecs and elevated push ups for pecs, and many shoulder works outs like front delt raises, barbell raises, lateral raises and military press. i went from 135 to 175 in about 3 months. if i continue with this will i hit 200 by christmass??? im 15 weigh 146, bmi is 21.55 and i play football. also im 5"10

  • Just push yourself everytime you workout and you will see great gains. You are very young. You shouldn't worry about getting too high up in weight yet because of your age, but as long as you develop good habits now, you will get strong and stay strong.

  • @mrijfi also put your hands a little closer together. When you were fully extended at the top your arms formed a slight v shape, you will get alot more power with them closer together, of yeah protein and creatine

  • take steroids, went from doin that to doing 225 17 times

  • I would rather live to see 50 years old ha. Im actually doing about 260 now, using only whey protein and occasional creatine.

  • that was good form, and was good for a 17 year old. most of you little fucks on youtube lie about how much you can bench.....

  • ye u'r right he's very good.

  • good work out

  • Hahaha what a pussy

ofcourse 'everyone starts somewhere', but this guy posted the vid to get attention.

  • 185 pounds = 84 kg's......

LoL dude your piss weak... im sure you can push harder than that....

Do 5 sets of 5 as opposed to 3 sets of 10....

  • I'm 14 and can bench 185...maybe 200 now

  • You can bench 185?

haha yea of course you can with 20 10 kg or less lol shut up Kid

  • 185 pounds? not an achievement for adult man :).

  • nice work man

  • Im guessing you play football, so I think ur grip is to wide.

  • Im guessing you play football, so I think ur grip is to wide.

  • His grip is good what the hell do you know

  • awsome more then i can lift.

    but im gettin there

  • good lifting kid.

  • 1000 views on this stupid video

  • dang, he teabaggin' him ain't he??

  • it does look like that lol

  • Yea, that chart is definitley wrong, because I have put up 250, and I do 205 5x at the end of my workout, and it sais If I can only do that, I can only bench 236, its bullshit.

  • if you do 205 5x at the end then that means your weaker from lifting 250 already so the chart is not wrong.

    Chart is usually fairly accurate.

    DUMBSHIT!

  • Why are you being a fucking faggot, ur definitley a weak piece of shit, dont even fucking comment back you asshole, And you must have interpreted it wrong, because i meant that i have done 250, and in a completley diffrent workout i did 205 5x, DUMBSHIT!

  • Stop making up shit and accept that your wrong

people like you ar so funny that try to cover up your mistake

    dumbassss

  • wtf, ur not making any sense, i made you look like an asshole, so shut the fuck up.

  • And that chart works on the sam principle as others, your multiplying numbers, so in any chart if you put in 135 x like 40 it will come out with some crazy number. so there obviousley wrong.

  • I think its just a rule of thumb, nothing 100%. There are too many things to consider for it to be 100%. The amount of fast twitch muscle tissue vs the slow twitch tissue is different in all of us, so who knows.

  • That chart is still BS. It says "projected" weight that can be lifted. Ill tell you what, I dont care if you can do 235 10 times, that doesnt mean you can do 306. 306 lbs is a huge difference, anybody who has lifted over 300 will tell you that. Doing, and projecting are two different things. A while back I was benching 300, but couldnt do 225 more than 8 times. How do you explain that?

  • Amen! When I finally hit the 300 pound mark, I was able to do 260 for 5 reps, but according to the charts at our school, I should've been doing 325. So if that projects to a 250 max, why don't you go do that and post it. 250 is bitch weight.

  • Why the shit talking? You gotta start somewhere. I'm not sure that you're aware, but whatever YOU bench press, there are plenty of guys that can call your lift "Bitch weight" too.

  • I think you mispercieved what I meant by my comment. That was more like me saying it was bitch weight for him and that he just needs to try the weight and post the vid.

  • i posted a link for people who don't think the conversion is right

  • Funny thats the same thing I wrote on his page. Ive never heard of this conversion BS. 250 is a lot more than 185 which would probably squash his ass right now.

  • Good lifting for your size. No offense, though, but benching 250# translates to benching 250#. You won't know until you try it.
