@slimck1 That only protects against fire blocks, not lava. Ive heard that all you need is the water walking potion but there's a slim chance you can still catch on fire from the lava.

full meteorite armour and a space gun = no cost ammo

also ten stars shot at the WoF with a star cannon made it easy

also used a demon bow and flaming arrows. took less time than you but I had to make a land bridge across about 3000 ft of the underworld

@wazzzuuupkiwi I found that a 200 blocks long bridge across the underworld was enough to beat WoF for the first time. In standard molten gear with hellfire arrows. Later, the kills went much faster. I'm currently farming WoF for all 3 emblems.

@x3ICEx ok maybe 3000 ft was a little exagerated although I poured a MASSIVE amount of water into hell when I got there so about 1000 ft in every direction the lava is covered by obsidian.

@wazzzuuupkiwi That's awesome! I heard about draining the ocean into hell but I don't want to try that as I don't want to refill my ocean later :)

@x3ICEx If you drain it on a server, then use the settle command, it covers all the lava in obsidian and creates an ocean in hell.

@x3ICEx hey now I was trying to kill the Wof again and it only took half the room to do, I did it three more times after but make sure your guide has arrived again or, you'll waste a voodoo doll. Also I even killed it with only melee weapons (legendary green phasesaber and mythril halberd)

i just got a minishark and 1500 ammo and with all that potions and fiery sword and full health

@ZDGameProject There is a quick buff hotkey. Mine is set to T but check your settings to find and change yours.

Omg I got just to like 1000HP down but the a glitch happened. I glitched through the ash blocks and went into lava :(

hey chris, i like this one cause its not based on taking the easy and annoying way out and just use a start cannon... that and u can get a pheonix blaster from scratch in about 2 days.

@everandea4 Ive only shot about 4 stars before i put that thing away. Its so evil i wudnt dare touch. Yeah, im still tryin to use my Phoenix Blaster in hardmode, i havent found a replacement yet.

I have shadow armor and plenty of defensive accessories, but the lasers are what kill me. I know it doesn't despawn, but if you die against it where does it appear if you go back to fight it again?

@asuprisedmuffin I believe he continues towards the end of the world and then despawns there. You can then resummon him but he'll be full health im afraid. Maybe you could make a bed in hell half way if you want to spawn closer.

Quick Note: WoF Drops a Random Item that can go From Breaker Sword to Warrior Emble, Clockwork Rifle,Laser Rifle and a few others. But he will always drop a Pwnhammer.

@Xuhybrid im on a mac book running leopard. so the wrapper wont work and the only copy of windows i can run in parallels is windows 98... idk whats got it slowed down but i can't seem to fix it. If i could run it natively on my mac i wouldn't have any trouble. One day i will get a desktop running windows just for gaming.lol.
