When you made that comment reese about not being able to think whatever you want, I felt compelled to expand on that a bit.

When, as you guys said, you accept reality even if only for practical reasons, it follows that your beliefs must line up with that reality. Tou cannot simply believe anything, for the sake of making yourself happy, because then you're essentially denying reality.

It's kind of complex, and hard to explain fully in a youtube comment. It's really about the nature of belief.
