The founders would have loved the guns we have now. They were avid hunters and firearms enthusiasts to a man. I think everyone's ideas should be heard. That said when the idea is rejected and a politician tries to lie and weasel his way around things he has those shouts coming to him. It is a God given unalienable right. Self Defense is spoken of in the scripture and it is God given. Not even just in scripture, the founding fathers thought that those rights (regardless of what creator granted them) were intrinsic with human nature. I do not own any guns myself. It looks like a pretty serious weapon he has there. I agree with your 2nd amendment but when is it too much? It is one thing to carry a pistol for your own defense, it is another to carry a pistol to a presidential town hall meeting. It is a whole other thing to bring a semi auto rifle to a presidential meeting. I think this hurts the militia movement and I think it hurts the 2nd. That is my point. But obviously I am a minority here.
