Even after he admits seeing her bleeding and deciding to leave and let her die? If the punishment for killing someone is less than the cost of saving them then there is something seriously wrong with the law to say the least.

And instead of getting out of his truck to check on what was most likely a dog that he'd run over....he drove away.....so he should be killed? Good logic.

@13mordeth It was reported that when the driver turned himself in, he admitted to the police about running her over, he saw her but chose to continue on with his journey without stopping to help her. Chose to do nothing at all, just leaving her to die like a dog on the street. If his confession is indeed factual, He rightly deserves that kind of punishment.

@Wildstar1960 Why would he admit that? What would be the logic? He could've just said "I thought I hit a dog.". I don't believe he was stupid enough to say "Yeah, I knew I ran over a 2 year old girl and chose to continue on" (even if he did) when he could have just played dumb. I'm guessing the police made up his confession.

@13mordeth I do not want everyone in China to die. There is good & bad in every race. I got caught up in the momentum of hatred. Even to this day I am mortified. However, I am a Christian and it is not the Christian way to want people to die. When the final day of judgement comes, the responsible ones will pay the price. Until then, I can only pray for their salvation & hope that there are still some good souls worth saving. For those involved I personally cannot forgive what they have done.
