The engine sounds really healthy. It's a great color combo and it's got T-tops. Personally, I think the car looks much better in stock configuration. The wing and the scoop make it look cheap.. Plain black with regular 15x7 or 15x8 Mopar steel rims would be my choice.
I honestly don't know the horsepower that you have in the car. 500 seems high. But whatever. I can guarantee 100% you have never gotten that car anywhere NEAR 170mph. 79 Dodge Magnum.... Assuming your transmission would hold out with the gearing, and assuming you have sunk about eight grand into the suspension, you might get that thing up to 140 before it feels like you're going to flip it. Nice cars for the day, but they do get a little squirrely. Try the burnout on dry pavement. more cred

A 904 auto would handle 500 hp,they used 904's on 340 hipo engines..yes a 727 is stronger..

I had a 79 Magnum GT with the 360HP withT-Tops Black/Gray, I put a dana 60, lovered it about 4 inches/ The engine was bored 30 over. I miss that car so much. I would love to pull up to these kids in there stangs and blow there doors off with a 4000pd car.. LOVED IT.. Great video
sik-o motor is a 360 him and i used to race wback when i had my cordoba i had him off the line but he had me in a long shot lol i have 87 townie now but that one guys right 525 hp maybe 350 or so...it still has alot of top end though
