What are u talking about when u say put the file in the root folder on the SD CARD? So I already have to have a root program? Help does anyone know and easy way to root?

@LOVERZREVENGE82188 the root of the sd card is nothing to do with super user access, or root. you know when you first plug in the card to the computer? ad you see all the files that can lead you down into different files and subfiles? well that starting place is the root of your sd card

@neverbshadee - Because you're local, I'll respond to this. Do yourself a favor, and don't try this method. This is terribly outdated. I only keep the video up, because for some crazy reason, it generates a lot of traffic to my channel. If I ever post something new, it will get a lot of traffic too because of all the subs this video has generated. So, to make your life easier, use unrevoked dotcom to root your phone. It works and it automatic.

dude i need some help, i accidentally erased facebook for htc thinking it was the facebook app on my phone, and also erased friendstream thinking it was only a widget, as it turns out doing this erased my facebook integration on my evo, i reinstalled both files and still the integration is not working, tried rebooting the phone to factroy settings but is a no go, i've been told to just wipe the phone and flash it and that may fix my prob, any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

OTA updates you will have to DL Patch and manually install

your full coverage protection plan only covers against broken phone due to drooped system malfunction from original software, lost or stolen. they wont even cover your phone if you have water damage

I want to underclock voltage to save battery life sometimes and overclock other times. As well as play snes emulators and stuff which as I understand u need a rooted evo to do.
