  • That's some great advice, i hate getting tan lines, and i'm terrified of risking my skin to cancer. (also, in my mind, my skin cells scream when i burn ... overboard. i blame the advertisements! the skin cancer is one of the biggest killers in Australia, and yet i could only find that Solar Sense cream available from America.) Thanks for suggesting those products :3

ALSO What is that delightful song in the background, i was kinda dancing the whole time :3

  • Red lips and smokey eyes were made for girls like you..youre gorgeous!

  • HELLA YEA! THAT DAMN SUN WILL DAMAGE YOUR SKIN AND HAIR!! I keep my skin covered from that damn sun...youre actually cooler with a long sleeved shirt than a short sleeved shirt where the sun s hitting DIRECTLY on your skin! plus is dries out your hair and causes hair damage...hair damage=hair loss. PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE SUN!

  • @markee871 I live in Hawaii. And as far as I've noticed, the long sleeves trap the heat from the sun and your body and it makes it INCREDIBLY WARM AND HOT. :/ Long sleeves generally do not keep you cool.

  • I remember hearing that you can't "add" SPFs. So if your highest SPF is 45 then that's the highest it's going to get even if you mix it with another one.

  • This was great, thanks for posting this! Even though I appreciate all skin colors it's nice to know ways to prevent skin damage, etc for those who are naturally pale and prone to bad tans and/or sunburns!

  • great thancks ==) you are gorgeous

  • yeah screw those tan whores! pale skin is beautiful<3

  • @Cutie8792747 That is really just rude. All skin types are beautiful, pale, tan, dark, all. Although, it also has to do with what you look like and sometimes your ethnicity. Certain people would look ugly tan. Others would look ugly pale. Being tan does not make you a whore. :/

  • @andagii I agree, that comment was quite ignorant even if pale skin is beautiful. It's all subjective but putting one over another is where *gasp* racism starts! In any case, maybe that person just doesn't know any better, oh well.

  • @diedeutschmaschine Thanks for the comment. :D

  • @andagii im talking about people who are naturally white skinned. i think its horrible to tan your skin if you are naturally pale.

  • @Cutie8792747 I think it's terrible to go overboard with being tan or pale. I'm naturally pale but I guess you can say I've tanned my skin, some of it doing just with the fact that I live in Hawaii. But I don't overdue it. As long as the person doesn't overdue it, I think it's fine.

  • Hi, sorry but solar sense now do a spf 70 of the sunblock shall i use that one or use the one youve recommended

  • Hi, stupid question but solar sense now do a clear zinc spf 70 sunblock, should i get that one or use the spf 45 one u recommend?

  • sun in greece is unavoidable xD

  • tan is ugly :X I'm so glad I got rid of my tan this summer o_o

  • @TropicalLove07 me too i hate tans

  • i live in Florida it hot even if i'm inside

  • that's the best sunscreen ever! i just did a review on it and i can't stop raving about it!

  • i'm not goth but i am so glad that i found this video! i live in southern california too so it is really hard not to be exposed to the scorching sun, especially in the summer. i'm going to try the ice on the face thing. thanks!

  • @whitfieldmusic1 after.

  • Comment removed

  • @whitfieldmusic1 you can buy it at any drug store - cvs, walgreens, etc. ^v^

  • @falleninto thankyou! I have a summer job involving the sun and i really don't want to get darker, and those spots that you talked about are sooo disgusting!, so this really helps! p.s. your skin is gorgeous!

  • what if the only skin u show is ur face, neck, and hands?

and then ur left with a hella white body and leather face?

  • @SophieSomeday your hands are the first thing to go because the skin is so thin. take care to protect them r else you'll have spotted ugly hands when you're old. D: ^v^

  • @SophieSomeday So what if your hands are darker, some people have darker faces and lighter bodies and vice versa...there are creams out there too for discoloration :D

  • Do you take D-vitamin supplements, since is the same vitamin that gets produced from the sun?

  • @Starrypla No I don't. I live in southern California so I get plenty of sunshine even if I'm trying to avoid it. I also drink fortified rice/almond dream. Milk does not make it in my world! ^v^

  • One TINY thing that bugged me was the "goth" comment... In general, you can be fair-skinned and not be "goth". =) I'm French and Irish so I'm SO pale...

But I did find the tips sueful... Esp the ice thing.

  • @BlueJeanBaby012 Glad that anyone can benefit from this video. Please realize before being "bothered" that my channel has a target audience, but welcomes any OPEN MINDED individuals. OPEN MINDED... ^v^

  • Dang you have very beautiful skin && thanks for all the tips should help me BUT i live in AZ so in summer it gets 110 Degrees Lmao but you helped me a lot thanks !

  • just wondering... do you ever pass out from the heat??? it doesn't get that hot here is san diego but i always come close to passing out every summer. ^v^

  • Haha umm i think once but nothing big :P && i love your tips there a lot of help

  • White power! Always live by the 14 words

  • @123jazzy13 aww thanks sweetheart, you're so sweet! ^v^

  • UV rays cause 80% of skin aging. So if you use a sunblock all your life your skin will stay virtually unchanged. I know because I have done it. Compare the skin on the inside of your arms to the exposed outside. Same skin, by the time you are over 40 looks like it belongs to someone else. The inside remains unchanged. Your skin is beautiful fallen into. Smooth, poreless and uniformly coloured.

    Don't tan.

When you are older, all the melanin cells start clumping together in big dark spots. Ugly.

  • Yes, what you say is correct! Thank you for the lovely comments and the great info! The last thing any of us want is a 70 y/o old wrinkly chest poking out of our shirts when we are only 40... have you seen that before??? It's so scary!!! ^v^

  • Yes I have seen it before! I lived in S.Africa for 8 yrs and I was like "What's with the womens skin over here.? Women in their 20's with big brown blotches on their chests. From that day onward ( may 1980 ) I have never gone a day without sunblock on my face and my skin is completely unlined (truth)

We have much better blocks in the UK. They have a 5* UVA rating which I don't think they do in the States. Even with our crappy climate! "Boots Soltan Factor 50 ,5* UVA.

    Safe in a nuclear war!

  • Thank you! Pisses me off when people give me grief for not being tan, nice to see someone who loves the pale! ^_^

  • yes! also nice to meet another tan hater! ^v^

  • u look like a pale skunk...

  • thanks, skunks are cute! im sure you look cute too... thats why you use pictures of magical rocks instead of a real photo of yourself.... loser ^v^

  • why the fuck would u want to aviod a tan!

  • cause i don't want to be a wrinkled cock sucker like you, whore ^v^

  • y are u trying to avoid a tan most ppl want one?!?!?!

  • @liah97 Most people who tan, or go to the tanning booths will pay a very dear price as they age. If the wrinkles aren't bad enough, the Skin Cancer will be. Is it worth it to look like a leather hand bag? Naaaa.....

  • i live in SD too!

dude, i always get a tan,

and i was using spf 75.

    grrr.

  • I use Kate Somerville SUnBLock Serum SPF55. and I wear a hat and umbrella when I go outside..even when I hike and run I wear long sleeves. On the beach, I use am umbrella as well as a cover up like a towel. YAY for use albino looking people xo

  • Thanks for this, I'm going to Spain soon so this is great. Too bad they don't fucking sell Neutrogena spf 75 in England. =(

  • I wish I saw this before i went to holiday =(

i used regular sunblocks and evantually i have a slight change wih my skin tone :(

    but next year, i won't.

and since city i'm living gets sun 8 months of sun, it'll be cool.

    thanks for the tips!

  • Thanks this helps alot because i hate getting sunbunt and when I do I aways get blisters even if its just the slightest burn annd it hurts like HELL! Oh and I love your hair!

  • Y thank yee!!!

  • have you tried using aloe on your burns? not the gel, go out and cut a piece right off of the plant and spread the ooze right on to your sunburn/ blisters. this is an ancient homeopathic way to cure burns and save your skin from scarring. it smells funny but is worth it!

  • omfg thanks for the tips

    i hate getting tanned because

it sucks while im wearing makeup

and...i just dont like the feeling to it!

and omfg your hair is awesome..the platinum part....how much bleaching did it take?!

    p.s:youre gorgeous!

  • hi gnrqueen, you're quite welcome! gotta keep it pale!!! haha, anyway for my hair, since it's naturally dark my stylist bleaches it to it's lightest possible level without damaging it, which is not exactly platinum. I spend like 40 min under the dryer and I hate it!!! Moving on, in between haircuts I use a special shampoo from Sally's Beauty Supply called Clairol Shimmer Lights in Purple.

  • whoa i really wish i lived there in u.s

you see,..im from hong kong so i dont get any stuff out here like manic panic, red eye shadow..idk all sortsa things!

but thanks for the help you're GREAT!

i'll try to find that...shampoo..but i have to re-dye my hair black next month..

school starts :september onwards..but im planning to keep some parts of my hair bleached and take it to the white-ish colour and hopefully ill be able to hide it ^_^

  • in that case, look for any shampoo that has a blue-violet toner in it. it will look like a highly saturated purple color. it may stain your hair a light periwinkle but that will wash out when you use a regular shampoo, leaving behind a sparkling white color.

that sucks that your school wont let you dye your hair!!

  • This shampoo is made for silver hair and neutralizes the yellow and pretty much tones everything else. The color keeps lifting w every shampoo and thats why it starts turning silvery white after a while. :)

  • I know how you feel I live in florida about a half and hour away from Miami so I know...It is hot as fuck here thanks for the tips

  • yes! i hate it! i can't wait to move away from this personal hell! like an oven!

  • ahh!i hate the sun!!!

    i prefer freezing cold weather

when the sky is grey n cloudy:)

  • ahhh me too. thinking of moving to Seattle.

  • lolz leather jacket, lmaoo I see that all the time! I absolutely detest the sun, I'm brown already I dont wanna get darker lol. awesome vid!!!!

  • ha ha yeah those leather jackets are gross!!!

  • lol leather jackets...

haha, I agree, the sun is evil... but I only get burned, not tanned...

and the parasol is sooo nice! :D

  • thank you sweetheart!
