  • I love this game. I'm still in the minors though, but I hit my first homerun!

  • ur last name is funny lol Kamehameha

  • bro i am definetely the best here

  • how do you play 2011?

  • how do i make it to the majors IM A PINCH RUNNER For double a Plz HELP!!

  • @DanWn1MW2 Use your training points on fielding. Once you get to The Show, use your points on batting attributes.

  • @spunjum i been using them in weight room and stretching and stuff like that add me on ps3 my psn is Artemka07

  • @DanWn1MW2 No. You need to use all your points on attaining your goals and fielding. Fielding is the most important attribute if you want to make it to The Show.

  • how do you hit homeruns

  • @yoryi94 It's all about timing and a little luck. Your power attributes really help too.

  • @spunjum igotthem all high but i just still hit singles and i try diffrent timing but i jus cant

  • @spunjum What is your Batting stance?

  • ur guy is beast

  • I made it to the bigs with the angels as a 1st base, my first major league hit was a hr! Thanks for tips, I have put it on rookie which hurt my pride but i'm hitting so so what.

  • @fifagoalsgalore No shame. I started at rookie too. Now I am on Vet to All-Star depending on how I am doing that day (hahaha).

  • hey im getting 08 and im making 2nd baseman got any hitting tips if can answer that would be great

  • @chaseracer11 I'm not sure. I don't think I played 08 so I don't know if it's the same.

  • @spunjum theres not much of a difference

  • @chaseracer11 I would say just work on fielding only. Once you make it to the MLB, then you can work on contact and power.

  • @spunjum ok ty ill update you when i make it to the bigs

  • Thanks for all ur help but I have found I am quite good at pitching, I was drafted by the red sox and after 26 ip I have a 1.04 era, s quality start, 2 holds, 16 hits, 21 strikeouts and a 2-0 record. Thanks again.

  • @fifagoalsgalore Nice. I have a pitcher too.

  • o yea i plying on mlb 08 the show also

  • But I am not good enough to get points. As a pinch hitter I came in in the 9th 1 ab and got struckout...

  • @fifagoalsgalore Just keep practicing. If you aren't satisfied with your results, you always have the option to hit the PS button and quit to the XMB.

  • To make matters worse, I have been called up to the MLB on my season stats... I simmed the season.

  • @fifagoalsgalore Never sim. Simulating is probably the worst thing you could've done. You want to play every game so you can achieve your goals and increase your attributes. If you're really lazy you can always buy 1,000 training points from the PSN Store for $0.99, but I think that is a waste of money.

  • I just found out the only reason i hit em is because I had pitch guess 1/4 on... :( anything else to help me?

  • Thanks, I now hit at least 1 a game and have turned back up to default speed, any timing tips because I am missing hr's because I misstime them, any tips?

  • Thankyou and have u got any tips on how to read the pitch? Becuase I can't get the left stick on the right place

  • @fifagoalsgalore Slow down the pitch speed to 0 until you get familiar with reading pitches. Then increase the pitch speed slowly until you get back to the default setting. It's all personal preference. No one is judging you if you leave it at 0.

  • What fielding rating should I stop and focus on batting and speed?

  • @fifagoalsgalore When you make it to The Show.

  • where do u bat in the lineup

  • @zdrumer12 I think I was batting 1st for awhile then moved to 3rd in the lineup.

  • @zdrumer12 i batte 3rd moved between 4 and 5 but then settled at 3 and im drafted by the reds i dont like the reds and they suck

  • can anyone help me? whenever i play postseason, there are blue squares in front of the dug outs...is this normal? and how can i get rid of them?

  • @clemensburke08 yea its normal, opening day has them too

  • My guy

  • what generic do you use

  • @jkboy200 I don't remember.

  • my guy is on the rockies

and i just keep pinch hittin im batting a 421

3 hr and like 18 ribs so idk i might start a new one

and be a RF or LF or 1st idk comment on my comment lol and tell me what i should do

  • @StrictlySports3 What position are you? The most important attribute is fielding. You need to constantly work on fielding. Also, make sure you achieve every goal that you're given.

  • @spunjum hey should i do a cf and work on fielding speed and contact

  • @AndyHoopinMcHale Yeah, that would work.

  • @StrictlySports3 u can make a 1st basemen if u want a power hitter, tho the best power hitter i have is a 2cnd baseman so if u want a contact hitter u shoul duse a shortstop but it all ddepends what u want also do every goal u can thats how u get a starting job or go up in the minors.........it helps u perform well

  • damn your good. Do you have any tips you can lend me

  • @greg4478 When you first start your career, your main focus should be spending training points on fielding. This will get you to the MLB faster. Make sure you do every training session available to you. Also, really work on your hitting and timing the ball. If you have to, turn down pitch speed so you can pick up the pitches from the CPU better.

  • what were your attributes when you started?

  • @matthewandsteven When I started in the MLB?

  • @spunjum yeah nevermind thx

  • Ok. What does fielding do? Is it like the catches and stuff? I just hit my first Homer of my career. It was sweet. Im a low ball hitter and I took it yard. 17 RBIs and 1 dinger. 450. average.

  • @Hauler24 Fielding helps your fielding. For some reason fielding is considered more important than batting attributes in MLB The Show. The more points you focus on fielding the faster your chances of reaching the MLB.

  • How did you get your guy in the big leagues so early? Is there like a way to do it?

  • @Hauler24 It took me about 3/4 of a year in AA before I got called up to AAA. I tried to make it to the MLB before the end of my 2nd year but never got the call because the 40-man roster was full. I got on the 40-man roster after spring training. The biggest thing to focus on is fielding attributes. Your fielding should be your main focus is you want to make it to the MLB fast.

  • @spunjum Ok great. My hitting is trash and I even got so fed up that I started to like cheat and put it on rookie hitting. Im a CF as well hitting .430 so I mean ya. I don't hit for power, but I do run well and they have me as a lead off guy. They want me to steal a lot so I tried to concentrate on my hitting, but I will go full fielding to make those badass throws and catches.

  • @Hauler24 Don't worry about playing on Rookie unless you want a challenge. My main focus was just getting into the MLB even if that meant playing on rookie throughout AA and AAA. Don't worry too much on throwing power and accuracy. You can actually disregard that. Focus on completing your goals and increasing fielding only.

  • show some real gameplay with you actually playing the field and baserunning

  • @65tayf I need to get some footage. I'll post something within the next week. I'm pretty busy right now.

  • Also can u give me tips to be so good

  • @RedSoxCrazy44 If you want to make it to the MLB before the end of your 2nd year then you need to use a lot of training points on fielding. If you don't care, I suggest using a lot of your training points on speed and batting. By the time I made it to the majors I had power and contact at 85 each. Once I got to the playoffs my power and contact was in the range of 85-92 for LHP and RHP. Also, pay close attention to your advancement goals and always try to finish every goal.

  • @spunjum ok thanks

  • Umm what r ur season stats and how isur rtts guy beast but mine sucks ass

  • @RedSoxCrazy44 I don't remember his exact stats but I know I finished the season with a BA just above .500. I was the MLB leader in RBIs and HRs.

  • Holy Crap!Youre guy is a monster! And man check out my new vid.

  • @THESHOWRTTS Thanks. His power and contact is 95 and 98 against LHP and RHP.

  • @spunjum dude try to break the hitstreak record you get a lot of points. And i subscribed you.

  • @THESHOWRTTS Thanks for the sub. Yeah, I already broke the hitstreak record but I forgot to record it. It slipped my mind. I'm going to make another video soon of my pitcher.

  • @spunjum sweet man keep me updated

  • what stance is it?

  • @hippiboy300 I don't remember. I'll look and get back to you.

  • @spunjum thanks

  • @hippiboy300 I'm using Matt Holliday's batting stance.

  • ROFL NICE HIGN KNEE ON YOUR STANCE

  • @leeaura LOL. I decided to use a random stance.

  • The Dodger General Manager made some pretty good moves to get Vlad Guerrero, Berkman, and Cody Ross, while keeping Loney, Ramirez, and Furcal, not mention bringing your RTTS player.

  • @obeidita I would have to agree. They have a stacked roster now.

  • do you play at easy?

  • I started on Rookie while in AA. Then when I got to AAA, I was playing on Veteran. Once I got the the MLB, I started playing on All-Star. At this point in my career my contact and power were both in the upwards of 85-92.
