To be honest, I'm glad that this is not famous or mainstream. Like, the fact that it's hidden and Piglet is an unheard band. But has amazing music, it gives a certain warm feeling of happiness. I mean if these songs were playing in the radio all the time...it would lose it's magic and it wouldn't feel so special...my opinion though.
@Thejaycefish i like to think of mainstream as a sound though, not a certain level of recognition, because these guys deserve far more recognition than they're getting. and if they become more well-known, sure they might become more popular, but their sound will forever remain non-mainstream. that is, unless they change their sound according to what record companies want out of them, which i don't think or hope will ever be the case.
I get what your saying. But to the typical human ear, they may not like the way this kind of music sounds. I listen to a lot of math rock bands, so I'm used to this type of music. But for a person who likes country, pop, or rap, this won't appeal to them. Unless they truly open their hearts and listen to it. Because to me, math rock isn't a genre to sway along to or just have playing in the background. It requires your full attention.
@fearmaker1000 Because is not garbage. Because the fat suits of the music industry have not yet taken notice there's a huge underground following that craves for awesomeness in what we listen to.

my friend went to chicago back when piglet was getting started and just happened to buy their CD at a local store cause it looked cool. I saw it at their house and was amazed
@EddietehFace it's very expensive mind, cheapest was around £87, but i would feel kinda guilty looking for a torrent of this, besides do you know what they're all doing now? I heard they've disbanded
@Noxcer Yeah, and they're no longer around I believe, and it's not like I haven't torrented stuff before (I did that with Portal's Demo) and buying a used copy doesn't benefit them anyway, even if they are still lying around somewhere
