when the russian came back to invade chechnya in 1999 he joined the freedom fighters and tried to ask for help from US and europe but failed. he also want peace treaty with russia but putin refused. in 2005 the russian troops or terrorist, i would prefer,murdered maskhadov. i pray that his soul rest in peace and the chechens be victorious in their struggle for freedom.

If Maskhadov was a dog or worm doesn't matter. He was the legally elected president of the republic of chechnya. The OSCE declared the elections fair and legal. Shame Shame, Chechnya was a "powerhouse" for russian oil but no more. In 2003 it was about 0.6Percent of Russians oil. Now with the unemployment rate@70% in the country I mean republic I mean sorry cant find it on the world globe.All the weapons they use to fight in Soviet.They even turned on the Soviets during ww2 giving help to Nazi Germany. Now iv seen it all,name one person from chechnya that has done good for the world.

thanx for your inquiry..I am really really sure that he was the good guy.he was legendary among the chechen people.He united the chechen fighters and lead them to victory over russians invaders in 1997.

when the russian came back to invade chechnya in 1999 he joined the freedom fighters and tried to ask for help from US and europe but failed. he also want peace treaty with russia but putin refused. in 2005 the russian troops or terrorist, i would prefer,murdered maskhadov. i pray that his soul rest in peace and the chechens be victorious in their struggle for freedom.
