This is one of the best albums, along with American Doll Posse and Abnormally Attracted to Sin, not that I'm saying they're not ALL amazing and wonderful~!
I fell in love with Tori when I heard this song so many years ago. And I just saw her in concert back on December 22nd in Dallas!!! Love this woman!!!
very nice voice, great control ov her breath, love kate bush , soundz like they both went 2 the same school ov singing, i like this, love musik, cheerz 2 great musik, thumbz up if u agree, pplz
lady gaga copies tori just as much as a she does madonna, i mean, right here in this song tori's referencing judas, addictions and mermaids, plus she's always talking about mary magdalene... all these things are what gaga is so into right now, image-wise and lyrics-wise... the way gaga plays the piano reminds me or tori, the music style too... not hating on gaga, but the influence is so obvious
@mariposasabrosa I agree.Im not anti Gaga but im anti society n the music biz in general when theyll listen to spoonfed pop instead of the real thing. Why gaga stands out? cuz majority of her fans listen to beats and dont register the words or symbolism. her message is brought out in the wrong sense. tori is amazing simply because shes defied societys n record labels lines since 'earthquakes'....god i love this woman
You do realize that both women grew up in religious households, although Tori's was protestant and Gaga's catholic, and both were child prodigies, don't you? So I doubt it's Gaga ripping Tori off. It's more of a similar upbringing. Both women have different tastes. But I'm thankful for both of them. They're both strong, beautiful, inspirational women with real talent.
@sickofwaitingtables It was stated in an interview that she was. Her mother practically forced her to take piano lessons but eventually, she grew to love it. She began writing music and performing at a young age, just like Tori did. I'm not sure which interview I heard her called a "prodigy" but it was stated. It may have been a Sixty Minutes interview.
@youkilledthefrog no, gaga's not original in any way and she tinkers on the piano and dresses ridiculously, imitating everyone. tori doesn't need "the fame monster" she just plays and rocks. gaga is pro-media culture, tori is anti.
@toyworld872 Well, this is actually about miscarring, so, I don't think you can relate Amy. I mean, she was absolubtely great and I think she deserves another song, hehehe
Amazing.

@youkilledthefrog Gaga wasn't a child prodigy, but other than that I agree with you.

By the last sentence, no matter where I listen to this song, I always have a tear in my eye. It's such a beautiful piece of music.
