@suraah the french practically created modern cooking.... so in a way....most the food you eat is french!!!!

@beefcrunch263 I read that Italian cooks changed the way the French ate. Before that the French ate everything together main course, dessert etc. Then the Italians introduced a differentiation of the courses and brought a bit order in the whole thing. Italian cuisin has also positively influenced the way to cook :-) But I also think that some dishes or spices or products get an exotic name so that people buy or use them.

Where im from this is called eggy bread and ya just use sliced bread dipped into seasoned beaten eggs. Fry it, splodge of ketchup and munch, love it!!

okay! u just won my french toast! i dotn use milk, just eggs X= i use normal square slices of breads( i do not know what those area called) and then i put honey bake ham in between each layer of bread, stacking them up, for 3 breads lastly i top it off with a square of butter and maple syrup = )) its all good
