I'm not sure how the PC version is, but the Silverlight (online) version is crap. Whoever designed it clearly never heard of multithreading. It's an embarrassment for any dev to see such a poorly designed app, although I don't know silverlight well enough to know how well multithreading is implemented in the language, it still is clearly not used at all within the app.

need some help. I used both the addon and the battle.net item finder so i have the right gear selected, its just every time i hit optimize it optimizes wrong. it doesnt account for the tier bonus and it puts pvp items in. What am i doing wrong?

I downloaded RAWR and when I I click on the RAWR tab in the character screen (in-game) it tells me to do a ctrl-c to copy the info that appears in the little box, then I right click on the RAWR so I can paste it in the other box that appears amd i get a message saying make sure you were able to copy the text from the first box, well i was able to because I pasted something in the 2nd box. Is this a glitch? Can you help me out?

It is such a pity they changed frameworks. The old version was much faster and did not do wierd stuff regarding saving and loading, and context menus appearing on left-click. It seems the web version cannot receive right-clicks which is why they did that.

Quick start tip for noobs: Load your character, then click Gear (top-mid), direct upgrades... then click filters, and turn off everything except the dungeons / raids you can do. That'll give you a nice upgrade list.

For example, if im lacking hit rating, rawr will gem my mainly for hit, but if i take into consideration the raid buffs it will gem me for other things...

i came up to armory and saw a DK with +30 stamina gems in red sockets ... doesnt +30 stamina go only to blue sockets , did he did it with this program , cuz it would so help me reach the stamina for ICC 25 heroics if i could just gem stamina ..

@chiliiyy When your socketing items, red/blue/yellow sockets are _optimal_ not required. If you do not fill in the right gems, you will not get the socket bonus. You will still get 30 stamina from a blue gem in a red socket.

@chiliiyy You can pretty much put every colour gem in every colour slot ( except for your Meta gem) The only reason you will put them in accordingly is to get your socket bonus. So yes, you can just put Blue gems in Red slots.

@Euphoriaaaa To turn off heroic ICC10/25 you must go into the Filter setting on the right hand side. Below Test Calculation Performance.

Then goto Tier 10 and drop that menu down and disable both ICC10/25 :)

You can unzip it anyplace you like; you're going to manually create a shortcut on Rawr.exe and place that on your desktop. If you're using Windows 7, it's best placed in a Library such as Documents.

Try downloading version 2.8.8. There was an upgrade the US armory that never made it to the EU armories, so you have to use an older version.

Most likely because you have no buffs set for yourself. Even in a 5 man heroic you will gain some type of buffs. With out setting the buffs the program is most likely telling you what your simulated dps will be. Before you slander a widely used program, try learning how it works.

It's a placeholder graphic that blizz uses when they haven't created the icon associated with the spell/talent/item. Rawr probably didn't recognize that talent for whatever reason(bug?) and used that.

Rawr is shit for anything except druids. I tried to use it on my hunter. first it tried to put haste on everything so i took haste away. Then it puts 10hit 15stam gems in even though im already hit capped. anything else got 10mp5 in it. what the hell is this programs logic?

Rawr is amazing, the only fault I find with it and this has been happening A LOT lately is I have Rawr up in another window, when an item drops, I compare it to what I have currently equipped to see if it is better. What I've been finding is the stats in Rawr are WRONG. This has been happening multiple times the last 2 or 3 months on items. It's very frustrating. I shouldn't have to go in and change the stats on an item myself to see if it is better.
