I have those Knit Pick needles (and love them) and after using band-aids and tape on my fingers I found ThimblePad at Amazon. They are real leather, little patches the size of an aspirin and are reusable. They stick right on your finger or thumb that you use to push the needle. I find these work wonderfully. No more holes in my finger and thumb! :)
