I don't know if this game will ever get revived, (I wish it would) but they will probably make a newer version or something very similar to it years down the road.
A game similar to battle position was going to be released called "metal slug zero online," it then got canceled due to not being up to the standards of modern games. Therefore no company wants to go back to being "old school" its all about graphics.
I doubt it'll ever get revived. Someone needs to make one again xD. My friend made this metal slug online game but since we couldn't create our own sprites there was no point in continuing it.

Ah I was going to, but I just got so lazy. Then I reformated my computer and having to find the install package is going to be hard work. The only ones I got left are jingle bell and this kind of battle theme I don't remember hearing in game. Enjoy them. P.s I Love the battle theme even thou i don't remember it in game.
I remember one time there was a glitch in creating a room and only 1 room was open. We had to listen to this lobby theme for hours to try and get into the room XD

It was an shame this game at the end lackdplayers, forcing the game to shut down for good. This was very fun online game.
