I'm not flying a Cuban flag as you presumed. It is more important to realize that I have 1/4 Chinese and mostly Italian ancestry, as that's my "culture", and not necessarily embodied by a "flag" which stays the same from 1902 to the present. Lincoln was a friend of Marxist and Communism had its roots in North America in several Northern states before the war. The south saw Lincoln as an abolitionist. And Lincoln WAS; he new that slavery was wrong and he supported high taxation to try and take away the money that was being made from slavery in the south. He did not want to just pass a law & make slavery illegal bc that would have guaranteed war! Unfortunately, high taxation was one big reason for the south to secede and they used it. The election of Lincoln in 1860 was the final straw, and the secession of seven Southern states followed soon after.

Lincoln said as long as the taxes are collected there will be no invasion. The taxes were not paid and there was an invasion. Although I consider quite a few of my views socialistic the CSA was not Socialist considering Ideas of Carl Marx were not wide spread especially to the Americas. But yes the CSA was much "closer" to socialism than the north because northern businesses from the industrial revolution were taking advantage of workers and destroying southern culture. And the railroads were exploiting farmers of the south. Socialism in the south if the CSA had won would had protected southern culture and agriculture

Lincoln was a friend of Marxist and Communism had its roots in North America in several Northern states before the war. Communist revolutionaries from the failed Communist takeovers of European countries in 1848 filled Lincoln's officer ranks.

The south saw Lincoln as an abolitionist. And Lincoln WAS; he new that slavery was wrong and he supported high taxation to try and take away the money that was being made from slavery in the south. He did not want to just pass a law & make slavery illegal bc that would have guaranteed war! Unfortunately, high taxation was one big reason for the south to secede and they used it. The election of Lincoln in 1860 was the final straw, and the secession of seven Southern states followed soon after.

The reason the south seceded was the election of Abraham Lincoln. The north did have to resort to destroying peoples' houses or they would not have won the war. Sherman had the entire city of Atlanta evacuated. 20,000 people, women and children included put on the road.

None of us were alive in 1861 so we have to go by what is written down of what they said. They were arguing over the spread of slavery into the new territories (not where slavery already existed) and trade tariffs. The south had the votes to bock both. I conclude the south got tired of arguing.

Yes, they were arguing over the spread of slavery into new territories! But they were also trying to abolish slavery!! Allowing it to spread into new territories would have literally made it harder to abolish, soo, they took the first step in abolishing it by trying to make sure that it didn't spread even wider and even farther.

War is ugly! If the southern army & navy had had the money, the guns, the soldiers, the equipment ect., it is very likely that they would have done exactly the same thing to the north. Fortunately, the north had more of everything & so this is what the north did & not the south! If you studied about any detail into the southern government you would know that General Lee was opposed to slavery and also Jefferson Davis was for freeing the slaves but he wanted to make a rehablitaion program for them so they would know how to live freely and idependently on thereselves. So before you say the south was nothing but racist people that owned slaves do some research outside of what you learned in school. Also the south had the first free african regiment to fight for freedom.

Lincolin stated that if he could keep the union together with slavery he would and in the Emancipation Proclamation he only freed the slaves in the south not the border states like Kentucky, Missouri, and Maryland.
