  • i wouldnt really call that an interrogation, it was more of an attempted negotiation

  • This goes with the original version and then they get captured. I really like this. More Count Dooku please.

  • Would of loved to of seen the full scene along with the original version of them throught the tunnels instead of the Droid Factory seq.

  • @jayce79

Yeah me too Jayce79. Great Idea. Your right on the money. Thumbs up buddy, thumbs way up.

  • @jayce79

Absolutley Jayce. You bring meaning to my life.

  • ou may say he effed up the story, but you are just making it sound that way. i really wish people would get over the stupid flaws that just happen to be in classic movies. Lord of the Rings. incredible franchise, but people try to tear it apart just because of one little flaw. the truth is, just let the makers write what's in their heads and don't rag on them for it. IT'S THEIR STORY, NOT YOURS!!! if you think you can do better write one your own f*cking self.

  • this deleted scene would must have been preceded with many more deleted scenes. I mean Amidala wouldn't just appear in front of Dooku without any reason. That scene would seriously change the script. BTW Anakin's turn to dark side in the 3rd episode was shown too accidentally. I never would have taught that it happended so easily. His turn to dark side was so spontaneous. All happend in a second when he was convinded by Palpatine to kill Windu. After that there was no come back for that guy.

  • @arguemental well technically anakin didn't KILL Windu, all he did was stop him from killing Palpatine by slicing his arm off. but i understand what you are trying to say. but it's the way George Lucas made it it's the way he imagined it so i wish people would get off his back about that.

  • Thank goodness this was cut. Did those movies need any more pointless politics?

  • Its random

  • Comment removed

  • Ruined by that noise at @0:54

  • Did George Lucas delete the entire story from the prequels? God I would have preferred this more engaging storyline rather than the rushed pace and talking down to kids we got. The slowly corrupting Republic everyone senses and everyone adresses would have been far more engaging and illuminating. Oh, and George... Solo shot first.

  • whose the black guy?

  • @Dooby1986

    Jango Fett

  • This scene should of been in the film, it has christopher lees awesome voice.

  • this scene should go back in it....it makes sense to add it before they fight in the arena

  • 0:11 darth vader

  • A scene I'd actually like too see back in the movie one day. One can never have too much Christopher Lee. The full version of the scene is much more that this.

  • @starwarsfandude

I know the guy in the suit is Jango. I was talking about that dude in the robe.... with the braided hair. HE looks like darth Vader to me. Read the comments before you reply.

  • That guy standing beside Padmé... he looks a bit like darth Vader.

  • @Fergesji its jango

  • 0:09 you can darth vader, weird o_o

  • @jedicupcakes876 thats jango

  • 0:09 darth vader

  • @Spiderkid1199 actually, it's jango fett wearing a black cloak..for some reason.

  • @Totaly14 no its the dim lighting reflecting off of the dark-blue part of his armor

  • @Spiderkid1199 thats jango

  • This actually is'nt even half of the original cut of this scene.

  • I really wished the full version of this scene had been in the movie.

  • lol count doku probaly the niceist sith

  • Dooku had a brilliant mind, and he was right, the Republic was rotten on the inside, but he was manipulated by palpatine. Hes an intriguing character and should not be taken as your average villain, hes deeper then that

  • @NetherDrakeye Also in turns of swordmanship few can beat him, he has deep concentration, but he became cocky and pushed Anakin too far in Episode III

  • Dooku probably made him wear the robe or cape or cloak, got tired of the glare.

  • @S1THL0RD421

Doou actually explains why when he talked to Obi wan. The Genosisians don't like Bounty Hunters so the robe is to hide Jango's Mandalorian armor. at :29 you can see his still wearing it under the black/dark Brown robe he's in.

  • @Citrakite I wish Obi-Wan had listened to Dooku. He would have stopped a lot pain that way. But NO, he had to think he was lying. Use the force Obi!

  • @TheCommunity896 Dooku didn't really plan to stop Palpatine just take his place with Obi-wan as his apprentice.

  • Guys the dude who looks like darth vader at the start is jango fett, he just took off his helmet

  • So they're caught then have a civilised conversation with dooku. How then did they get from this to lets feed em to some gigantic creatures. They shouldve cast an unstable sort in dookus role, either christopher walken or Dennis Hopper breathing oxygen like in blue velvet - you fucking with me senator? Im the fu*king daddy

  • "the republic can not be fixed, its time to start over" ... why they omitted the politics from the confederacy? the confederacy was angry with the senate corruption (besides their own) and high taxations. Lucas should have kept the confederacy point-of-view in the movie.

  • The guy everybody thinks is the Vader look alike is Jango fett, no idea why he has a robe over his armor.

  • @anonymous9882 cause he is the original boba fett and boba wore a short cloak

  • @anonymous9882 no its the light reflecting on his dark armor

  • I saw it to i thought: "What the hell vader walks there"

  • I prefer this version of taking Anakin and Padme captive. The droid factory battle, IMO, was not compelling or exciting. It seemed tacked-on and sloppy.

  • Well there was nice scene called 'The Lost Twenty' that was in the original cut of the movie in which they discuss the Jedi who have left the order and there facination with them. Among this disscussion is a slight backstory for Count Dook'u.

  • I really like this little scene , actually rumor is there's a bit more too it. I love as much Christopher Lee as I can get , so I certainly Would'nt mind seeing it back in the picture one day.

  • I liked him too. He was the badguy yes, but he used his brains and calculated decisions. CHristopher Lee's character kind of reminded me of Hugo Weaving's V a little.

  • Yeah, Lee really convinced me fully of his role, especially that of a count. I wish they'd make a backstory for him, and maybe a movie about Darth Tyranus. Lee wins at this movie.

  • I hate politics in star wars

  • Maybe could be worst, example in my country is worst the politic :(

  • Why Padme hadn't got older since episode I. It makes prequel trilogy look kind of silly.

  • I'm not a fan of the droid factory sequence but I don't care for this version either. Maybe more of a one-on-one battle between Jango and Anakin would have been better. It might have been cool if Jango was able to capture Anakin with a rope/cable device like Boba tries to use against Luke in ROTJ.

  • @jksonny Finally! Someone who understands me! Jango and Anakin SHOULD have fought!

  • if they had this in the movie it would show that he does care and gives them offers, a sith dont do that, and he is a Sith Lord so they had to cut it rofl

  • yup that is jango, just gotta look real close right when he comes in

    "Don't move jedi!" =)

  • Christopher Lee isn't too bad

  • 0:10 that moving guy looks like Dartn Vader

  • he may be jango fett

  • yeah I noticed that too...

  • No, Jango Fett is standing next to Dooku the whole time, without his helmet. Funny though that I thought it looked like Vader too, but it must just be a Separatist guard. They come from many races.

  • @darrentorres its jango that looks liek vader he walks over to dooku, then takes off his helmet

  • that is lord vader

  • @ArabPrince20 vader is bigger.. that guy certainly is to small ^^

  • oh whoops your right i didnt see well

  • @ArabPrince20 its JANGO

  • @SammyTheHedhehog Its Jango fett, no idea why he's wearing a robe instead of his armor, but i guess the armor is underneath.

  • @SammyTheHedhehog

yeah, he uses an helmet just like vader... i thinked the same...

    lucas was joking or not...

  • @43nrique its JANGO.

  • @starwarsfandude

    lol i know

  • @SammyTheHedhehog

That's the bounty hunter. You should be slapped.

  • @MUxEMPiRE ??? I said (long ago) how he LOOKS LIKE!!!

  • @SammyTheHedhehog thats jango

  • @SammyTheHedhehog i think thats jango

  • @xlrwolf10 it cant be jango is next to dooku...

  • @SammyTheHedhehog you notice that too..

  • I would love to see the extended version of Dooku's duel with Yoda. In the extended version Dooku picks up either Anakin's or Kenobi's dropped lightsaber and takes Yoda on with both. There are screenshots of it on the 'web & when the Dooku action figure was first released it had both lightsabers.

  • WHAT! are you serious?

where can you get to see that?

  • I believe there was a little more to this scene , I hope we see it back in the picture one day. That would be nice.

  • Agree. Lucas then could have shortened the longass lightsaber duel.

  • that looks like jango with his helmet on you can see its silver when he walks in hes just wearing a black cloak and he took off his helmet look hes standing next to dooku

  • why he dont just torture her

  • Or bite her. lol

  • Was that really in poor taste, or did you young whipper-snappers just not get the Dracula reference?

  • @CountArtha lol

  • Dooku still wasn't totally against them, his offer to OB1 proved that he was prepared to make deals, he was a former jedi master after all!

  • I agree. I felt Dooku was being used and sort of choose the same path Anakin did. He was doing what he felt was right at the time...(Sort of like Brutus in Julius Ceaser). Would of been interesting to see what would of happened to Dooku if Anakin wasnt choosen to take Dooku's place.

  • even more interesting.. what if obi wan decidet to help dooku destroy the dark sithllord he was talkin about an just said: give me the name i arrest that person for a while an then well c wether things get good or worse.. after all im not ure about what dooku was planning back then telling obi wan the hole story.

did he just know sidiouse as a normal person that gave him advises an so rebbel against the republic? when did he learn the truth about him an when did he learn the truth of the clones

  • yeh was like the same pact that darth offers Luke in Episode V, to overun the emporer

  • Um??? That was Darth Vader see in the next scene he's not there anymore(Left of Anakin)

  • Summed up:

    "Give us Obi-Wan."

"Only if your planet joins us."

    "No."

    "Alright, later dudes."

  • yea, that pretty much sums it up^^

  • I don't get it.

  • Some interrogation. I thought the cock would come out.

  • Great Scene

  • I would take here on and make her cry with EX

    4 hours.

  • BORING

  • it was Jango Fett in the background, not Vader

  • no u can see vaders cloak!

  • at 00:11sec you see darth Vader in the backgroud lol check!!

  • wtf? darth wasnt even made in this film...but hes there?!

  • its jango fett

  • frickin boring. so damn slow.

  • id rather have this than the droid construction run about.

  • its saruman!!!!!!

  • This should have been in the movie. There's actually a little more to this scene.

  • Hm, i've never seen this.

  • @LightDarkDragon its a deleted scene

  • Fett not Vader

  • Fett don't wear black. >_>

  • maybe he wanted to change his wardrobe

  • Try again. Try harder. >_>

  • its that guy next to dooku hes holding a helmet in his hands he kind of looks like fett

  • I thinks it one of those 'Easter egg' thingies for die-hards to find. Otherwise it don't make no sense to me... : /

  • maybe thats why its a deleted scene

  • its a very easy to see easter egg

  • this needed to be in the movie

  • omg vader was there, weird,

  • Where

  • at 0:11 seconds you just see him walk by in the background.

  • it was jango fett in a cape. i've seen this in my dvd before.

  • VADER AT :11!

  • thats jango fett

  • Did I just see Darth Vader walking by at 0:11

  • Don't really care if the books are good, I wanted good MOVIES and got majorly disappointed by Lucas, who hasn't done anything great since Indy 2 back in 1984, imho. Since then he's only been concerned with technology rather than good storytelling. On topic, I agree that this is a good scene and should have been in the movie.

  • The storytelling is perfect, sometimes the dialogue leaves much to be desired though.

  • ya'll should REALLY read the books; Ep. 3 and the one right after are GREAT, the Bane books out are KILLER (literally. lol), and LEGACY OF THE FORCE is one of the best things i have ever read. mind-blowing. if you love Star Wars, you'll be amazed by the books. trust me, i have been a fan since the origional tril. and the books i have read recently have strengthened that love for this rich story as well as introduced me to a Star Wars galaxy i never knew could exist. THANK YOU; Mr. Lucas.

  • the books are probably very good, since the overall story of star wars is excellent, but in the books you don't see the ugly CGI characters. POWAH TO THE PUPPETSAH!!!

  • i must say, even in growing up with the origional trilogy, that Episode III is my favorite... i think! i am pretty sure it is; really!! it tells the story of what made it to start the "Dark Times", and growing up i always wanted to know what made Vader all that he was; inside and out. i think it's wild that one of the strongest humans in the SW galaxy is a quad-amputee. trippy. and i like the other new episodes 'cause they just tell a great story; ya know?!?! even though i love the puppets; too.

  • ...but the books... man; they just add SO MUCH to already what is the richest storyline in the history of Sci-Fi. the books about the movies, and the Expanded Universe ones, add so much depth to each and every one of the known characters and introduces some great new ones... but the 9 book series that is out now, "Legacy of the Force", is mind-blowing. the first one starts things off a little "slow", for a pretty eventful book in itself, but the all what goes on throughout is just AMAZING.

  • Can someone tell me why corporations and businesses are always the corrupt ones in these films?

  • Ever heard of Enron, Global Crossing, etc?

  • Well it is not only them, but also the government. Perhaps George Lucas was hinting at the United States. We are basically becomming the same thing that this movie portrays. We have politicians like Hilary Clinton that is just like Senator Palpatine, then we have a retarted President who only cares about himself. Then we have the men who are true patriots, like the Jedi, fighting. AMERICA IS DOOMED IF WE STAY ARROGANT AND NAIVE TO THIS THREAT. The real enemy are those pigs in the Senate!!!

  • very VEEEEEEEERY smart post. people need to OBSERVE what all b.s. is going on all around them because it has nothing to do with anyone who these people are supposed to represent; THE PEOPLE. any politician that doesn't think they work FOR YOU is lying to you and totally about to screw you over as soon as you walk away. lol but, of course, these jokes that are doing this mess have no actual GUTS to say the truth to your face.

  • Natalie is great in this movie, It will be cool if it will be in the movie, but whatever I still love this movie and it's reminding me a great time in my life

  • what time???? when you were in love with some girl?

  • agreed, in THIS movie. In the next one she was a little cheezy with the "oh anakin" wineing in the 3rd film

  • They should have had this part in the movie.

  • I agree this, for once is a decent scence.

  • agreed

  • Dooku was alright! Not only did he offer OB1 the chance to join him but here we have a 2nd offer.Apparently,Dooku wasn't actually a sith and was classed as a 'dark jedi' neither good nor bad and i think that he genuinely wanted to kill Sidious.Would have been an interesting tangent in the script.

  • Umm well Count Dooku a.k.a Lord Tyrannus was a Sith. But he belived he was fighting for a galexy of Sith not 2. And Dark Jedi are "bad" they are renegade Jedi that fight to become a Sith.

But yes he also wanted to reform the Republic.

  • it seems that every single scene with any intellect in the movie was cut out...

  • s' pretty cool

  • bump

  • What did they don´t put this scene in the original movie?

  • dunno/

  • "Time constraints." This is always the reason. Almost always. I don't see why some extra minutes would have been a disaster, but Lucasfilm knows better, I guess.

  • Yeah, like thinking the prequel stories were actually interesting. They should be ashamed of themselves!
