The volume in that club is always loud. My digicamera would've picked up the sound anyway. I was standing approximately in the middle of the front row and if I remember correctly the bigger amps were on both sides of the stage. I'm not sure, but it could be that Omar had a smaller amp somewhere closer. I wanted to focus on Omar himself and it seems that I by mistake chose the perfect spot soundwise. It was a surprise to me that the sound turned out that way. :)
There is nothing like a live blues gig! great showmanship. Some of the best shows i've ever seen were in small clubs. Bet thats one you will remember for along time.
That's right, small clubs do offer a totally different experience of music than the bigger arenas. More intimacy and feeling and that's how blues should be experienced. Omar is one of many fond memories. :)
