  • Epoxy is your best friend. Good stuff, that and CA/Superglue. Nice Video hacker. I got a trainer that looks like it was rapped by a pair of gorillas thinking they were pilling a banana. I'm not the crasher, got it in trade. I went from flying helis, traded them for all planes. Going to give them a shot. Thanks for your video hacker, I'm going to be looking to see if you have any more.

  • @NCCreekWalker yes it is the glue that holds this great hobby together you might say LOL... glad you liked the video... I have lots more

  • im sorry plz dont call me stupid but all the rc nitro planes that i have seen on youtube have no air filter on them im a noob if u cant tell are you supposed to fly with one on there because i own a bunch of nitro rc cars and im realy good at rc cars so i thought id give nitro planes a try

  • @bluecatfish66 no big deal man we were all new once .... there are no air filters on planes because 99.9% of the time there is nothing in the air to get into the engine.. the only time to worry is when you are flying off a gravel or dusty or sandy runway. then you do have to worry about it alittle .. like if you nose in your plane or crash it always check the carb for dirt.. good luck get yourself a sim it will help you learn better habbits and save you money

  • @hacker8675309 thx alot do you recommend a sim

  • @bluecatfish66 yes the best money you can spend in rc also then you can always fly no matter time of day or weather

  • @hacker8675309 which one do u recommend

  • @bluecatfish66 I have only used real flight sim but it has a great selection of planes and helis also thought the website you can download alot more free aircraft the physics and graphics are great ... the only problem is the price $200 but it is worth every penny because it will save you thousands in the long run. but that is only if you use it and practice practice practice LOL . also check the thec specs I had to buy a graphics card to make it work well on my CPU so check into that cont>>

  • @bluecatfish66 I have heard good things about some of the other sims on the market..the pheonix one looks like it is a pretty good sim but i have never used it or know anyone who has. good luck hope this helps

  • @hacker8675309 thx alot for the help what time is it were u live its 2.41 am here

  • @bluecatfish66 1.41am here about to head to bed after awhile

  • @hacker8675309 ditto lol

  • Glad I saw this because my Alpha looks just like the one here, after the battery died on final approach.... I was planning to buy a new fuselage until I saw this.... THANX

  • @gcso202 if you take your time you can make it look really nice... it is a easy rebuild ... thanks for watching

  • First it's EPOXY not appoxy. haha, and FIVE MINUTE epoxy is NOT you want to use to fix a firewall. It may still be flying today but the vibration of the engine may surprise you one day as you're flying and the engine takes off and leaves the plane! haha.... AT LEAST 15 minute epoxy, I use 30 on all structural parts...

  • @chevypower1930 why is the 15 or 30 minute stronger.. it is all epoxy..

  • @hacker8675309 The reason it takes longer to dry is because it forms a stronger bond.... Simply the 5 minute epoxy will become brittle over time and the biggest thing with the 30 min and 15 minute epoxy is it has more time to soak into the porous wood and really forms a strong bond.. I mean yeah usually 5 minute will be fine man.. Especially on our planes that we really don't worry about much like our beat around trainers and everything.. but I like the added piece of mind on my prize planes!

  • @chevypower1930 thanks for the info

  • @hacker8675309 by the way your repair looks surprisingly good for how long it took you and the type of wood your using! I'm sure it'd look great recovered you should post us a picture of it recovered!

  • @chevypower1930 thanks ... I did not recover it I like it the way it is...LOL

  • @hacker8675309 Works plywood to fix the plane? type 3-5mm plywood

  • @Sweden217 you can use anywood.. just make sure it is light and strong..

  • @hacker8675309

my tail just break all the time, you knowe the balsa on the fusulage on the tail is broke. do you think that I can use cardboard to fix it? ( sorry for my bad english)

  • @Sweden217 with somthing like that you might have to rebuild fresh balsa wood

  • @hacker8675309

what about to make a fuselage out of cardboard? of course the firewall would be out of plywood, and some otger parts would be that to. But otherwise will it work? its a nitro engine i`m going to use.

  • @Sweden217 give it a try . who knows it might work..

  • @hacker8675309

handstart a nitro trainer plane? is that easy? i want to try to handstart my plane by me self, becuase the runway is to small and bad, so how is it?

  • @Sweden217 hand starts can be easy and they can be hard depends on the engine and how well it starts in the first place

  • @Sweden217 hand starts can be easy and they can be hard depends on the engine and how well it starts in the first place... good luck

  • Proper hack style dude, fly time is key ehh, no peeing about with the fixes for you man. Sick it n go, ha or "bodgeitandfly" 5* Dude.

  • @mattyfly4fun when its way up in the sky you cant see the details anyway LOL... thanks for the nice comment

  • U madevthat look really easy nice !!!!!

  • @flyingchimp99 it is really easy and it does not even have to look nice it is still flying today.. if I would have taken the time to cover it.. no one would no the difference other than the flat nose but I like the big stik front end.. shows off the engine.. thanks for watching

  • Great video!!!
