Pretty Funny, how his discs were in order when he opened it. Cause, when I had opened my set, Holy Fuck the discs weren't even in order. HAHAHA. I had to put them the way they were supposed be.
It's a great box set, the only ting i hated about it was that two of the dvds where messed up. The Disc 2 of Superman had a missing audio file and the superman 3 dvd was manufactured wrong, meaning that it wasn't the specail edition of the movie it was the original bare bones version. I had to call Warner Bros. to get them replaced.

I picked up the four pack earlier this year. I got my seven year old nephew stuck on Superman.
I had some grievances with Returns, but I still think Singer has potential to make a truly meaningful and epic Superman film, IMO he just got a little hung up on paying homage to Donner's work. I really think that they should introduce Brainiac, or Darkseid into the films. I think that they got stuck in a rut with using lex Luthor in practically every film.
because i have only seen the original version of superman 2, i would like to know what the differnce bettween the original and the richard donnor cut. why do people prefer that. i am getting this boxset for xmas but i can be botherd waitin a month. lol.
Superman II was a good movie, but the Richard Donner Cut totally blows away the original I think. Donner shot 83% of Superman II and all of that footage appears on the DVD. The scenes that Donner chose not to put back into the movie are also on the DVD as deleted scenes.
hope you never touch my dvd booklets. you flip through that comic with one hand like a crazy man!
good video though. btw, the posters are awesome, full theatrical size! Only downside is that the Returns poster is the DVD promo poster (still theatrical sized) of him chasing the plane rather than the epic theater poster.
Hi mate do all these extra comics/covers come with all the silver tin boxes or is this a special edition dvd because there are a few on ebay but they dont seem to have the same stuff which your gift set does ?? :(
Hmmm, as far as I know all tin boxes should have these things. This was the first bunch release and when they re-issued it maybe they took some things out. Don't quote me though.
I just asked one of the sellers and He told me that the region 1 version has all the stuff that you have & the Region 2 version is the one with alot of things missing :(( DAMN do you know ANY LOL site on the web that sells YOUR version ????
Nice set. I actually liked Superman 3 a bit, mainly because Richard Pryor was funny in it... My fav is probably Superman Returns but I think they spent way too much money on it.
That set is really nice, I almost got it for Christmas, but it got lost in the mail...I opted instead to just get the Christopher Reeves Collection, I really like the first Superman, but wasn't crazy about the last one. I thought Brandon was an awesome Superman, but that girl that plated Lois...I didn't care for her at all she was horrible and ruined it for me. Plus why can he lift a mountain sided Rock thing from the ocean but it takes him ten minutes to stop a falling plane?
i dotn like Superman 4 but some behind stuff for both 3 and 4 in a almost ultimate edition of superman is bad.. cause i know theres alot of behind camera stuff for Superman 3 i have seen it on television some years ago
i will not blame you because movietaste are different for one to another but Superman 3 blow me away the 2 first was original but missing the power and the super musicscore that are in Superman 3.
