top game on xbobx live perhaps even better than halo2,it was just so fun to play it every day its sad that you cant play it today with the same people that had it back in the day,soo much good memories!

@svrgm Yeah, that was down to the speed, it can happen sometimes even just going 209mph but the overboosting speed makes it super unstable and you need a wall/barrier to help keep all 4 wheels on the ground. One thing of note: that garage entrance I crash into I like to think is the one where you get your cars displayed when you unlock them. I've always associated them like that :)

Oh man this video made me smile! You drive just like me!  I can't believe there are people still playing this! Shame though that it's really closing after such a long time; I never got a chance to play online because I never had the money. I wish I could play it like this cuz it's much more satisfying! How long have you been playing it? Ive played it since many years ago and havent really had the skill to get the Euro racer yet.

If you have a 360 you can get a free month of Gold (online) play from your console. As far as the Euro, I have some vids to help wth the 2 tram/trailer/bus takedowns in a race. I'm sure the Euro is within your reach soon if you check those out.

Let me know exactly which takedown trophies are left and I'll help.

I have all the trophies except the Trailer and Tram takedowns. I thought of Winter City for the trams but it's harder than i thought. I have no clue about the trailers though.

Sadly yes. April 15, 2010. The same day as the xbox. Check EA's "/2/service-updates" url on their website to see for yourself :(

It must hold the world record for an EA game surviving online because it was among the first EA games with Xbox Live online play. Scores of games since have been switched off since then, it even outlasted Burnout Revenge by 2 years!

It still isn't any less fun to play though.
