  • Interview Questions: How much did you make on your last job? I hate that question, I feel that information is very personal and it has nothing to do with my current salary expectations and/or the salary I will request for that position that I am being interviewed for. Can anyone give me an tactful answer to that question, one that won't hurt the interview? Thanks.

  • What if you really AREN'T open on the money and you don't care about the opportunity?

    That doesn't mean you don't want the job, but perhaps you know you will not take the job unless they offer enough compensation. I could not say I am primarily interested in the opportunity, because it wouldn't be honest. I want to feel appreciated, and one way you know when you're appreciated is when you are well paid.
