Here he is thrilling us with his remarkable tone and expression and only 13 here.This is one of the best cello performances I've heard myself so far on youtube.Maybe I should widen the variety of cello players I have been listening to on youtube,but why with performances like this?He has everything inherent in a great cello player.

There are just a few itsy-bitsy technical things which could be improved (but are already fine). I'm happy for you, it sounds great! I actually like a few of the things you did that I haven't heard in some of the other recordings I've been listening to (which I am going to experiment with in my own playing). The most striking thing to me is your musical maturity. Congrats, keep it up!

This young man has a fine technique. The areas for improvement are he should stop looking down at his hands so often and more at the conductor and audience. I listened to all three movements and the other area that needs some improvement is in some of the piano sections he could be a bit more nuanced. This will come with time. My favorites for this concerto remain Piatigorsky and du Pre, but I enjoyed listening to this very much. I hope to hear more from this talented young man. Bravo!

This is incredible! Iv been playing for almost 7 years (started in 4th grade) and am working on this piece now. But the sound and the confidence! I come no where near it! and for those of you who may have looked at my vids, believe me when I say I am better that that. I do that for fun ^^;
