I think you all did a wonderful job. I mean sure you aren't professional dancers, you most likely haven't trained in some dance genre or another your whole lives. hell if I tried any moves like that, I'd break something lol. If someone reacts negatively towards you for your efforts then I don't think that person is worth the keystrokes to respond to.

i actually happen to like this video. i was also very happy to not see the obligitory sitting on the floor and legs in the air thing. almost every dance class or such thing does it. its as if they teach only sitting and kicking. its also nice that the dance was in fact pretty smooth and with the beat. thumbs up for it! it was a joy to see

@bananas379 It probably has so many views because people were expecting to see the Wade Robson choreographed version from season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance. I can understand using his ORIGINAL as inspiration, but surely you should have the courtesy of crediting him in the description above. Otherwise, it will be thought of as a direct rip-off by most viewers. Whoever choreographed this should make sure you mention his original choreo to this song.

Creepy as fuck.... I LIKE IT! AWESOME! but the music is really fast. i'm just used to it being a LOT slower. and i think that would have made it more zombie if it was slower. did you only have a certain amount of time?

Honestly, I think it's pretty good. I can see that its rehearsed, from all the more or less synchronized choreography, and that it looked fun.

I think a lot of the people who 'disliked it' were just being arses and didn't stop and consider how much freaking EFFORT must have been put into this.

First my reception: I thought the piece was well put together for a group of people that large. You were clean and precise. Your moves weren't too difficult for anyone, which means it was an attainable piece for the entire group. I say bravo.

As for the haters who think they're better than everyone else because they've danced since they were five. Don't give a crap what they say, because it's not worth two pennies. Most of them are still living at home on Mommy and Daddy's dime flipping burgers.

I'm surprised you are getting so many negative comments. I go to a lot of live performance shows. I am not sure how many times you rehearsed this or performed this, but I cannot imagine how difficult it was to choreograph that many people and get it to look so smooth. I think any time you put something up on Youtube, the trolls obviously come out (not having accomplished anything themselves), but it looks fantastic and incredibly creative.

AMAZING!! people on here dont know what there talking about! i teach dance at a university in america! yes this dance had some concepts of the thrillar dance but that is due to thriller being an inspiration to many dance routines and michael jackson would be amazed and honoured!! very much talent there :D

Since I actually know and have performed the Thriller choreo, I can say this with knowledge:

There is maybe three or four moves they use, but the dance is INSPIRED by "Thriller". Go be a jerk elsewhere.

As another poster commented earlier, I have performed the Thriller choreography and most of this dance was NOT from Thriller. Some of it was, yes, but even then they put their own spin on it. Thriller inspires a LOT of performers and including some of the movements in a routine such as this is an honor and a tribute to the lasting impact that that choreography has had. Let me tell ya, son, that dance is HARD! In other words, if ya can't do it yourself, lay off the harsh.

Cheap, watered down version of Thriller. I don't mind amateur dances...we all have to start somewhere. But you can't expect to rip off great choreography, perform it poorly, and expect people to appreciate it. Better luck next time.

I don't think it's necessary for them to mimic the dance done on TV. That would just be copying. They took someone's idea and modified it to fit them. I liked it, and it looked like fun, and thats the reason people should dance. Not for recognition, but for fun.
