Re watching G1 again.. Sort of see the random mistakes a bit more. I love it when it double takes to Optimus saying "Prepare for battle!" then doubles back to the same part but with Megatron screaming "Attack, Attack!" Love it.

Ok, it pretty clearly states that at the beginning of this episode, the Decepticons far outnumber the Autobots.

Is it me, or are approximately an equal number of Autobots and Decepticons shown throughout the series? Maybe there are far more Decepticons than are ever shown?

Throughout the series, many things were hinted at, but never really explained. This is just one of many of them.
