  • Could you please tell me what kind of Exhaust is that? It really sounds really good n I have the same car n planning on putting a better exhaust. Thank you!

  • Hey im looking at buying one... how reliable is it and how are the service cost?

  • where does the straight pipe u have connect to the stock system? does it run all the way and connect to the manifold?

  • what exhaust do you have?

  • what kind of exhaust to you have? is it just a muffler delete or what?

  • i don't know anything about modifications, but i have a 2000 328i automatic trans. and it is not much quicker than the 65' vw bug i used to have. i drove a 2001 recently and what a difference. the 01' is light years quicker. my next bmw will be an 01' or newer, for sure; meanwhile, i'll have to figure an inexpensive way to grind out a few more hp out of this sluggish 2000.

  • I might get a white one of those with black rims :D

  • Still looks like a new BMW!

  • i have a 2000 328i. no mods at all. its a dog. it looks very nice, i.e. 17" wheels, but the 01' is a much better car and light years quicker. trust me. i drove one and couldnt believe the huge difference. go with an 01' or newer.

  • how is the cars reliability?i know this model year had issues

  • @assassin72 it's not too bad actually. BMWs are just expensive when you need to replace parts. the one thing that bugs me is the idle issue which you'll see in another one of my videos (italy430), and you can hear it in this video. I've kinda figured out it has to do with the A/C being on and it would prob cost a lot of money to fix or first find out exactly what to do. it runs just fine and so im not gonna spend the money on that.

  • @italy430 is this really a 328i? :p

'cause the exhaust looks like from a 316 ;D

  • where is the second pipe out the back??? is that really a 328????

  • @ambr26688 i just put a single straight pipe out back. it currently has a AA muffler which looks a lot nicer with twin chrome tips. and yes it is a 328i... i raced a tuned nissan which really should have beat me but we were even. he asked me if it was an M3 haha

  • man nice beamer seriously fucking nice! nice rims, nice interior

    good job bro

  • did they make a 328i in 2001? someone is selling me a 2001 328 but i dont think they made 2001 328 thats what i read on the net.... idk help?

  • @hallal55 as far as I know the 328i ended in 2000. 2001 would be a 325i or 330i. you gotta be careful with buying these cars cause some ppl have no clue about them. i've seen many ads that claim the engine is a V6 haha

  • @4fifty8 yeah i found out it is a 320... good thing i asked the seller was like oh yea the previous owner changed the badge... good thing i double checked!!!

guy has a 320 with 270k km... nothing is wrong expect for a engine sensor light but that is common

he said he would do 3500 cash but thats when i thought it was a 328

    lmao yeah v6....

thats nothing some guy in a video called it a inline v6 LMAO

  • @hallal55 haha i think it's ridiculous that ppl rebadge it like that. mine is the top of the line for it's year (other than the M3) and i debadged it cause i think it looks so much nicer... it's a cleaner look. btw i'm italy430, this is my new acct.

engine sensor light? i'd definitely get that checked. i wouldn't say that's normal. get it scanned by an OBD-II reader and it'll say what is throwing the fault code.

  • @4fifty8 well from alot of people i hear usually they are common problems becuase of not putting premuim gas, preium oil and that could throw off the sensor somehow...and its not a big deal somtimes it might effect emessions depending on what it is

becuase alot of people i know with beamers have the light sensor issues but they never fix it because it cost an arm and a leg lol!

even though its a 320 its still nice and im very tempted to get it even though i never driven manual i wana learn!

  • @4fifty8 ah sweet how is the car treatin you? very nice man and clean! love the rims!!

  • @4fifty8 ok i found out its a muffler oxygen censor.... know if thats expenisve?

okay so the guy said he did tune up and brakes 3 months ago and the body looks mint, same with wheels, however its the 2.2 :( 160hp :( but it is leather and manual and body still looks good

    270k km

for 2900-3000K CAD what you think?

  • @hallal55 i'm not sure. reliable and honest places for parts are getbmwparts and turnermotorsport

the body will pretty much always look mint. mine is the same way. the E46 just looks great and the way it's made it'll last. you want to make sure the engine has been taken care of and the suspension is in good order. you should drive it when it's warm and take it up to at least 5000rpm while driving and make sure it's still smooth. my engine is very smooth... smoother than a 2006 i drove

  • @hallal55 i use a french synthetic oil. i've tried a number and i think this is one of the best. it's Total Quartz Energy 9000 0W-30. It's a Group IV synthetic. Pour point is -54 celsius. I tested the oil from the dipstick at around -20 celsius and it still had very little viscosity, it felt very thin, not much difference from summer time. It's expensive but worth it. I actually pay a few pennies less than the Mobil 1 stuff because I get it shipped from a distributor. highly recommend that oil.

  • @hallal55 the engine runs very smooth with that Total oil. I also only fill up with Shell 91. the best fuel i've tried. i don't recommend the lower brands like Petro Canada or 7-11, Safeway, those kinds of brands. the Shell 91 makes my engine run the smoothest.

  • @hallal55 i've got 211000 km on mine and it runs super smooth. i was at the airport the other day (airplane crashed! ) so i had a chance to rip down the runway... took it up to just below redline and my shifts and it was very smooth! :) i love the high pitched whine you get at higher RPM

  • @4fifty8 jeeeez!!! airplane crashed damn!!

so im taking it that manual is awesome lmao

man in gt5 with my logitech g25 its super fun so i imagine real life = better!!

how often should a clutch be changed?

do you know any mods i can put on a 320?

  • why the fuck does your exhaust sound like that is that stock

  • Do you american guys even know how to shift? Cause you are spoiled by driving just cars with automatic gear ;)

By the way...your exhaust is broken...

  • HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP!

Hey. I am considering buying this car. I THINK that i found a pretty good deal. Same car except in white; in MINT condition inside and out. It basically looks new. The leather is like new. Really amazing. The car is gorgeous! The only thing that worries me is the mileage which is 157,000 miles! He wants $5,000 for it. Is it worth it? How long will this car last me? Can I get something similar with lower mileage for this price? I like bmw's, mercedes, and audi.

  • @StandYourGrounds I can't tell you from the internet. you have to have it inspected and go from there. that is a bit of miles on it but if you really like the car and don't mind putting some money into it then go for it. you are pretty much guaranteed that you will have to put money into the car when you buy it used... that goes for any car

  • don't lying to us dude .. its 325i

its not 328i ... so sad hahahaha

  • wow, is this thing stock?

  • @markeyboy9944 it's got straight pipes from the cats back. other than that, it's stock

  • why does it sound like shit

  • how does it passing it's test (MOT) with that straight pipe exhaust

  • @sykanax i'm italy430.. new acct. it passes emissions because it still has the cats in. as for sound... well im not sure it would "technically" pass, however i've never had any problems from the cops. i've driven by cops in 1st gear @ like 3000rpm and they seemed to care less.

  • @sykanax why does it sound like shit

  • @TheBitchesHate did i ever said that? o_O

  • @sykanax no, I did

  • @TheBitchesHate why did you reply to me with your question than?

  • @sykanax i just felt like stating the fact

  • @TheBitchesHate well it's a fact for u only

  • nice, we are about to buy us the 1999 328i sedan with just 37000 km on it, cant wait to drive it

  • @TheToyotatundra07 I'm sure you'll love it! 37,000km is unbelievably low!! good find

  • @TheToyotatundra07 HOW MUCH DID U PAY IT

  • @Rasimbacko2 we have it from a guy who brought it from an island of Japan where the steering wheel are on the left side, so normally positioned cause i live in south america and we are buying it for 15.5k dollars

  • @TheToyotatundra07 oh ok thank u

  • WHAT A BEATIFULL RIDE WHATS THE PRICE OF CAR LIKE DIS

  • @Rasimbacko2 thanks! i'd say i could sell it for between $10,000-13,000 CAD. it's worth a lot more than that to me though so i really don't wanna sell right now :) i just spent $1500 on putting brand new headlights in... regular, 2 headlights are $3000!

  • @4fifty8 how many usa dollars is tht sory im european lol

  • @Rasimbacko2 using XE converter... $9600-12500 USD

  • @Rasimbacko2 oops! i was on the wrong account.. italy430 is mine as well

  • Nice

  • Wait its a 2000 but It has ASC?

  • @EthanCommins888 I guess so! maybe they changed it during the production year

  • @italy430 They did but you are saying its a 2000, it should have DSC as standard,

I have a 1999 328i (one of my videos) with ASC and it had DSC as an option. What does the sticker say?

  • @EthanCommins888 which sticker?

  • @italy430 In the door, you can see it on my 328i tour.

  • really good car man specialy the sound was amazing! is this got VSD / ESD ?

  • @kidman363 thanks! what's a VSD ESD?

  • @italy430 its a something that you add to your cars exhaust system i think and it changes the car's sound

  • what size wheels and type of rims do you have?

  • @straightamped they're 19" ASA AR2 wheels

  • What did u do to the xausht? love th sound is it straight pipe?

  • @joshuarevisa69 yup it's straight piped! i loved it, sounded so good in real life

i've got an Active Autowerke muffler on now tho, i miss the straight pipes but the AA muffler sounds very good!

  • I too am curious about the gauge cluster. Did the gauge rings come stock on the cluster? I've seen other '00 328i sport packages, and it didn't have the gauge rings

  • i'm not sure, i didn't own it since new. it's got an AC Schnitzer instrument gauge face on it, the silver rings might be a part of it.

  • i just got a 2000 328i but its an automatic, just one question is your's in the M package because I see the M one your gear stick

  • nope, i have the non-sport.. it's a BMW M weighted shift knob that i ordered from BMW... it shifts really nicely with it, highly recommend! the shift boot is alcantara which I also ordered from BMW

  • were did you get that dash display or control panel the one that shows ur rps and mph

  • are you talking about the carbon fiber around the gauges? that came with the car. it's an AC Schnitzer carbon fiber accessory.

  • that looks comes with it? do you know were you can buy a new display for the mph and rps?

  • no idea. the gauge backgrounds i have are stock... it's just black...

  • o well it has that silver trim and for the 2000's they are usually white and dull and the max speed is 140 your is 240 i think

  • mine is km/h not mph

  • This sound?!?! camera added extra audio -horsepower ;)

    straight pipes explain a lot....

but still sound is like 400hp :)

    nice unmolested car

  • AMAZING CAR, i'm probably getting a black one and putting a borla on it. but i have a very important question, can you turn the traction/stability off on this year???

  • yes you can. it doesn't have a LSD but you can turn of the traction and such with the push of a button

  • @italy430 that's awesome. have you taken it out drifting at all or even on the track? i've been told they aren't that great for track and that they're really not too swell at drifting but this is from people who only own E36's.

  • no it's my daily driver, i take pretty good care of it and don't rag on it.

that's correct they wouldn't be good for drifting at all because it doesn't have an LSD. you could put one in tho. stock suspension is not good for track at all. putting in a good set of coilovers and removing weight, putting in an LSD, some good wheels and a few small engine upgrades and you'll have a pretty decent track car. i would highly recommend getting the 330i tho.. it's engine is more free flowing and powerful

  • OMG i want your car soooooooo bad that thing is awesome how much horsepower does it have?

  • thanks man! what the specs sheet says is 193hp but im pretty sure its got more than that hah. straight pipes i think gave it a little more. i raced a modded 350Z which should have killed me but i stayed with him pretty much the whole time. when we stopped he asked if it was an M3 lol

  • man u r sooo lucky hopefully i can have a car like that

  • Dude, your car is so sexy! Love E46!

  • nice ride mann..thinking of getting one

  • well mantained...its beautiful...i got exactly the same......the only thing i dont like is that.....doesnt have a quick start man.......we all should upgrade to m3 lol

  • haha everyone needs an M3. i'm actually looking forward to the new M5... twin-turbo V8, i've heard a video of it going around the 'ring and the tranny and motor it has just makes it sound badass, especially on downshifts!

  • i was about to install Borla's on my 2000 328i,,but this make me re-think it!

it sounds like a V8 for sure!! have you tuned it yet?

  • haha no i haven't had it tuned. but just we warned it is VERY loud with straight pipes. it is quite loud inside but outside it is significantly louder (the E46 has good sound deadening for the inside). i actually took my straight pipes off and what i have now is both resonators removed with 3" piping straight back to an Active Autowerke muffler. it sounds quite good and i had a friend race beside me and he really likes the sound.

i really loved the straight pipes tho, always gave me a smile!

  • ohh ok sorry i didn't hear you say that in the vid until i already posted the comment... :) my bad!

  • I think you got the model wrong... the 328i has 2 exhaust pipes... the 318i looks exactly like the 328i but with all the "goodies" removed (acording to Top Gear). And the only visual difference its the one exhaust pipe instead of 2 pipes...

  • no it's the 328i. the straight pipes just has one pipe coming out the rear. i've got my AA muffler back on which has 2 large tips. you can also tell by the sound, the 318i is a 4-cyl engine and the 328i is a 6-cyl engine.

  • i think i can honestly call myself a bmw hater. this car is beautiful, inside and out, and most bmw's are, but for no apparent reason i like mercs better. i love to hate them even though i know they are so great.

  • lol ya i think ever car enthusiast "hates" another brand. i like bmw a lot but i still look at other brands and see if im getting the best. competition only makes things better. i must admit i've looked in lust at a few mercs and audis... forgive me father! ... but bmw is still the best! xP

  • yours is sweet though, but you definitely do need to get an exhaust tip on it though lmao. is that your only car? what else did you have before this? you can tell im intrested in the competition! =D

  • haha ya.. i actually just put my Active Autowerke muffler back on, sounds a lot more refined, still has a sporty sound and i won't get in trouble from the cops.

i had a corolla before this haha... first car usually isn't the nicest :P im a pilot and once i finish this last yr of flying school and get a good flying job im gonna upgrade. the 2010 Audi S4 is on my mind... as well as the BMW 335i and others...

what cars have u had/are considering?

  • other than that im looking at a 99 jag xk a bmw 5 series, no later than an 02'. a merc c230 sport. or a 94 corvette. lol lots to choose from. can get them all for around $12,000 here.

  • very nice car i really love it, probably why i bough one :P same as your 2000 328 but all black with beige interior and i got the same rear lights coming in man! and the exhaust must say seem pretty awesome i had a 525 before with straigh pipes mega loud thinking of doing the same catback. piece of advice dont touch the headers there pretty good save you a couple bucks. Awesome ride!

  • lol wow, love how the car says both tail lights are out :)

  • haha ya... the aftermarket LED tail lights kept throwing those codes and my shop and i tried but couldn't get them to go out

  • lol yeah, but Nice bimmer. BTW

  • thanks!

  • Actualy i'm going to get one very soon. But im not sure which model to buy since 325 also looks fine for me.Anyway any of your advice bout this car would realy benefits me to do purchase.Btw i'm a car enthusiasts.Have u done any major repair on this car?Realy need to know about this car bro.Thanks.

  • i'd get the 325 personally, and if u can afford it get the 330.. totally worth it. slightly more mods avail for 325 and 330. if ur enthusiast and like putting effort into making ur car nice, maintenance shouldn't be a problem. no major repairs. biggest was replacing suspension because it was worn, i went with aftermarket cause it's about same price as OEM if u buy online. i'll send u a PM

  • Bro i need ur advice about this car.Since u have use this car, what are the disadvantage of this car have, and how about the perfomance.btw is it expensive to maintain or constanly needed to repair.NEED UR ADVICE BRO.

  • i really like my car... inline 6 engine is very smooth, good power.. ur not gonna beat a 350z and those cars (unless you supercharge it :) but it isn't a corolla that's for sure. handling is very good on it. the drive is great, BMW is knowing for a drivers car. disadvantages: maintenance is a bit higher than avg... i can't really think of any other disadvantages. fuel economy is good. the maintenance thing is kinda subjective. i baby my car but i wouldn't say u need to constantly repair it

  • are you a car enthusiast or just a guy looking for another car? cause i've got some advice that depends on that....
