Does it nor occur to anyone to ask why society raises females with clothing choices, while aggressively denying choices to males? Most definitions of clothing & gender are faulty. The only factual determinant is physiology---therefore, bras are female, athletic supporters are male. Skirts, pants, fancy vs plain clothes---cannot be sex differences. Don't confuse majority habits with genetic determination. A man in a skirt with facial hair is dressed more like a man than a shaved man in pants
Girls can wear anything. If girls wear boys clothes nobody cares. Boys in girls clothes, that's another story. It's a double standard, and it's not fair. Your brother is cute but I think he needs some accessories and just a touch of make up.

William Shakespear used to have adolescent boys play the woman characters in his Globe theatre. I used to have neighbors, whose 11 year old son enjoyed playing DRESS up, publicly. His older sisters made him up to look like a young woman. I always thought he was a couple fries short of a happy meal for doing it.
