I want to know why some games can't have at least a 2D cockpit view. With today's technology, I'm pretty sure they could come up with some cool tricks to make a 2D cockpit view to look cool (high resolution textures, bump mapping, etc).

More recently I've been thinking: If at least I knew lots of people who are good with game making (someone who is good with 3D models, someone who is creative for landscapes, someone who is good at programming. And also, a musician, for original soundtrack), I would start one kind of "supergroup" and make a free game for download. Really no money involved: as I said, free. And even if we had a blog (not a site, it costs money to mantain), no ads.

No ads for making money in the blog. I didn't mean ads about the game.

BUT it wouldn't have "ads" for the game neither though, we would try to spread word of it, but without paying no one to put any ad on their blogs/sites/etc. If the game is free, who on the group would want to PAY to spread the game?

And also, like one game I know (GeneRally), I don't know if it would be easy, but it would be awesome to make it easy to add new cars or tracks (if it were to have a carrer mode, maybe that only official cars/tracks would be on it, though it could have a different carrer mode where custom stuff can be used). We would add new stuff over time, maybe shout-outs, like a NFS or Gran Turismo track, or a paintjob to make a car look like a famous car (i.e. Dukes of Hazzard's Charger)

@KSpeedy1989 actually the only thing they had to do in nfs hot pursuit last year is adding moving arrows for showing speed and rpm.
