I'm confused though, if we are were all originally Albinos, who cannot produce melanin, how can we tan like we do today? Did the albinism mutate, so that instead of producing no melanin at all it only produces it in amounts in relation to the amount of sun we get? Or is it something different entirely?

Northeners have most of their genes from the Finno-Ugric people, and with Northener i mean: Finnish, Estonian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish etc. Since most of the people in these countries carry the genes of blue eyes and blonde hair, which are known to be associated with the Finno-Ugric populations.

One of the main problems is that we distinguish ourselfs by color. I'm a Finn myself and about 80% of Finns have brown hair, the swedes and norweigan also. The scandinavian blond is a stereotype you see a lot in tourism ads.

my family is from india and i have a cousin with fair skin and green eyes. my brother is very fair with brown hair. I myself have light brown hair and an olive toned. My brother's father-in-law's brother has fair skin and red hair and when i first saw him i thought it was some white dude in a turban but he's full indian. I was amazed.

my anthropology teacher was talking about Ethnic backgrounds. He said that there are three main Races. Negroid (african), Caucasoid (European), & Mongoloid (East Asian).
I asked him.... So which one am I? (I'm of Himalayan/Indian descent). He looked at me while confused and said....... in the summer you were dark and in the winter you were pale. India's made up of 2 populations. Modern Indians are hybrids.
The first wave of humans to come to India were the australoids... those went onto populate Australia. They took a coastal route from East Africa to India.
The second wave of humans came to India by taking more mainland route through Saudi Arabia. They were the Indo-europeans...some people settled in Iran...others went onto populate India.
Later on, some of these Indo-europeans migrated outside of India to found Europe.
