Bugalu - this is an excellent clip... you are always spontaneous and creating in the moment - I like how you opened it up with the drums - when the piano and bass brought the tune in it was very beautiful and majestic - it was like painting with sound - you say Bugalu plays only for the spirit; what a great attitude to have with the music, you go straight to the ghost - when you open up on the drums it's like an invocation to the spirit - this is very beatiful music and nice swinging - thanks
The way this tune started was like a spiraling motion slowly gathering mass and energy to itself. The space that was left open after the introduction of the band allowed for the voice of the emotional energy to be heard and felt. The motion of your drum solo gave body and heart to that voice. The way you broke into that Latin rhythm expresse
an inner harmony that illuminated the entire environment. The foundation you laid down allowed John to paint a beautiful melodic picture-song.
