Is this guy for real? I just can't believe how bumbling and adorable that was. So awkward, and somehow episode 2 was almost exactly as awkward as this one.
@cridantis We put together a How to Make Poutine sequel a couple of months ago. It's actually getting a showing this coming weekend at the Flyway Film Festival in Pepin, Wisconsin!
That was very helpful. Thanks for posting! Just a question or two regarding the preparation. Do you just throw the carrot away or does it wind up in the dish? And what rice works best for this particular flavor profile?
I think I diagonally cut the carrot into thin slices and stirred the slices in with the rest of the ingredients. Or maybe I stuck the raw slices into the finished dish to give it some visual appeal. I'm guessing any type of rice would work, but I think I used regular long grain white rice.
Somehow this ends up looking like the most complicated DISH ever made. And Gerry even says it took him an hour to make. Not exactly your average bachelordish then is it?
Man that was so funny. Good editing lol

I could watch Reed do simple tasks for days on end and it would still be hilarious.

@cridantis I guess this explains why we weren't able to be at the hospital when you were born. :-)
