  • This looks really good, i sure want to make this. i like simple directions.

  • cheese wiz adds, personality, personality, lol haha im canadian too so i know the whole themes song, luckily i wont bore u to tears by posting it, great recipe by the way! :)

  • My gosh my husband ate nearly all of it...lol yum and so easy to make

  • Ooh I made your macaroni cheese souffle...omg it was to die for. Mmm

  • @Fitange The macaroni cheese souffle is one of Max's ultimate favourite foods. :)

  • yum im going to make this tomorrow night.

  • @Fitange This was a good one! I forget about the recipes I have made and when I get a comment on an older video it reminds me I should make it again :)

  • After making this, I only have one question. Can I love with you? Lol. I hope that didnt sound stalker-ish. xD

    Love all your recipes! :)

  • @EvilDarkrai13 Just a bit stalker-ish, but I get the idea, lol.

  • I'm from Australia and we don't have such things as sloppy joe sauce and cheese whiz. I'm thinking some philly cream cheese would be a good substitute for the cheese whiz but what could i use to substitute the sloppy joe sauce?

  • @TheOtherGirl80 If you do a search for "sloppy joe sauce recipe" you will find several, they are very easy to put together. BBQ sauce would be a good alternative to use as well

  • DANG thats sheer genius! I'm definately going to give this a try. Does it matter what kind of creamy cheese i use because we dont have cheeze whiz here and what can i use instead of the sloppy joe powder cos we dont have that here either. It looks wonderful! Thanx hun!

  • Do you have any processed cheddar cheese products? Like velveeta?

You could make your own cheese sauce and use that instead (if you look up my recipe for macaroni and cheese soufle, there is a cheese sauce base there that will do nicely).

The ingredients for sloppy joes are simple and you can find recipes online in several places.

All this "from-scratch" cooking, does take away from the quick and easy aspect of this recipe though!

  • We have cheese spreads (Happy cow and philadelphia) and come to think of it, knorr have a cheese sause power mix that could work... We dont have velveeta. : 0 /

Oh i'm terrible for cheese! I absolutely love it and always did. I made homemade burgers last night and they are soaking up oxtail soup as we speak and we'll have them tonight with potatoe wedges. You are getting me into the kitchen cookin stuff more often hun! Your advice is golden and your vids make my taste buds go nuts! : 0 )

  • Springform pans are really good for cheesecake as well.

  • looks good :)

  • Thank you Jonathon!

  • hmmm, that looked pretty good!! AND easy to make! I like easy! LOL

  • Easy is good!

  • Oh Mannnnnnn Who wouldn't love THIS?

I know I would overeat if I had this in front of me.

Cheez Whiz makes me cry I love it so much. (I love it on Broccoli, Cauliflower , Asparagus, Baked Potato....I guess just about everything)

  • The only way I can get Max to eat broccoli is to smother it in Cheez Whiz!

  • I have got to move closer to you...lol

  • I think there's a house for sale down the street! lol

  • NOTHING beats processed cheese for yumminess. I could so blow my diet with this one!

  • This is diet blowing food!

I grew up with Cheez Whiz, so for me it is a natural ingredient.

  • I completely understand, if it wasnt pasteurized and processed, we didnt eat it at my house! LOL

  • That looks like fun! And a warming rib sticker for these yucky winter days.

You're giving me way too many ideas, and I have to add this to the list. I just did a pork roast yesteday, a variation of my own I call Kaluha Pig. I planned to do yours, but you triggered me to remember that I hadn't done it for way too long, so I did it first. Now I'll have to do yours next week. If I don't explode...

  • Ahh I did a kalua pig in the slow cooker recipe a while ago I believe. I think it was under something like let's do a luau! ;)

  • Drat! I never can remember if it has an 'h' in it or not. Lots of soy sauce and garlic and ginger? I do it as a slow roast sealed in foil for like an hour per pound. Got the basic recipe back in the 60s from a friend who'd been to Hawaii and said it was a local thing. It'd be really wild if we're talking basically the same recipe, 40 years apart.

  • Nope, no soy sauce. Just hawaiian salt (rock salt), some water (or chicken stock) and liquid smoke. Super simple and delicious!

  • Oh, yeah, this one looks like a definite keeper! YUM!

  • I think I will make it again, even hubby liked it and he isn't a big fan of Cheez Whiz.

  • Mmm, I like sloppy joe's and mac and cheese, so this looks pretty good to me :)

  • Dear Gigi!!

I like both as well, so I really enjoyed this too.\

  • hmm interesting

Not gonna lie..money shots look great but that cheese whiz kinda scared me. lol

  • No, Beth! Do NOT read that label!! Just close your eyes and dump it in. LOL

Ackshully, in this sort of a dish, I suspect you could use an equivalent amount of slightly melted Velveeta instead, with the same effect. And it doesn't have nearly as many ingredients you can't pronounce.

(I freely admit, however, to consuming more than my share of Cheese Whiz as a kid, and it does make a good cheddary flavored sauce, straight out of the jar.)

  • But But But ... my blood pressure raised considerably just thinking about it hehe

  • Hahahaaa! If I didn't blow up as a kid, then it can't be all that dangerous.

  • Yep, Cheez Whiz isn't for everyone, but in our family it's almost a staple item. It is the only way to get Max to eat many green types of green things.

  • I have never seen this before. wow. I have to try. My kind of food. KtC

  • Mac and Cheese meets sloppy joe! What's not to love, lol.

  • Yummy! I love cheesy, ooey gooey concoctions of stick-to-your-ribs deliciousness and this fits the bill!

  • Your description is perfect, I should cut and paste it into the sidebar.

  • oh yum-o im making this tommrow =D

  • Did you make it? did you like it?

  • Your sloppy joe casserole looked so yummy!

Another recipe to try! love you!

  • Love you more!

  • Wow I never thought of this way with the cheese whiz

  • I use cheez whiz to made cheese sauce all the time (instead of grating cheese) quick and cheesy.

  • Lol you can't go wrong with cheez wiz. I would bet that would be a Max favorite eh? Looks great!

  • Yep! A Max favourite! Mac and cheese is in the top five on his list.

  • I'm not a big fan of sloppy joes. But I bet this is good. Great Recipe Tammy as always. Hugs!

  • I like the flavour of sloppy joes but hate eating them they are, well...sloppy!

The mac and cheese goes very well with the meat sauce.

  • Thank u so much Tammy! You have opened a door for my family with these videos.

My sister Pam said this video was cool.

  • I bet Julia would like this too!

  • For sure she will....

  • My kids would love it and so would I. Another great recipe on my list to make. Thanks so much!

  • Christina

I have a hard time finding food Max will like, this one was a hit!

  • It looks good, now what are the crumbs that you put on top of it? How do you make those?

  • I took regular dry bread crumbs and poured a little melted butter over them and stirred.

They taste really good on top of the casserole.

  • it looks really good

  • Thanks!

  • I bet this is a nice stick to your ribs meal for a cold night.

    Thanks Tammy.

  • Comfort food for sure Rose!

  • I LOVE SLOPPY JOES!!! THX

  • This is sloppy joes meets mac and cheese!

  • It did look beautiful coming out of the springform, but I can understand why that probably isn't the best thing to bake it in!!! I had something very similar last night and it was really good! Great recipes Tammy!! xo

  • Thanks Barb.

I had a big mess to clean up on the cookie sheet, my springform pan let a lot of the egg leak out. The bottom of the springform pan has a waffle pattern on it as well and it was a biotch to clean.

Last time I use it, I will use a simple casserole dish.

  • You should bring the pan back to where you bought and wear it off of the managers head!

    tttwaaannggg! BANG! Twaaaannnnnggg! TwwaaaannnGGGG!

    LMAO!
